    Hi all,
    Since my return to the game a month ago, I've come up with several ideas for things that I (and other players who helped develop these ideas) believe would be beneficial to the game. This is a place to organize these. Let me know what you think!

    - Lifesteal:
    The short:
    RNG-based lifesteal is frustrating and unreliable, so we propose allowing it to proc on every hit and heal a portion of your lifesteal ID per hit depending on your attack speed. For example, if you have super fast attack speed (4.3 hits per second) and 1000 lifesteal, you would heal 1000/4.3 health points per hit. This may seem powerful, so perhaps a multiplier such as .75 to your lifesteal value would balance it.
    Holes in this idea:
    The main criticism I've received of this idea (aside from lifesteal becoming too op) is that it would be difficult to calculate for fractional and low values of lifesteal.
    For further reading, here's a great thread.
    - Mastery Tomes:
    It makes zero sense for players to need to do gathering/professions in order to get tome slots that don't pertain to gathering/professions. Players should not be forced to do professions. These changes make a lot of sense to me, thanks to HardcoreChan for this thread here.
    - Pet Task:
    The pet task is an awful pay-to-win feature and should be either removed entirely or given to all players. It provides an extreme advantage in lootrunning and is generally unfair for people who don't want to buy Champion. Perhaps Champion's pet bonus could be the ability to change pet skins for the same tier? Like you could swap a gray wybel into a pink wybel like editing a class or by spending a wybel token of the same rarity (the swap would keep the level and name of the pet obviously). This would be to allow champion to still have an exclusive paid feature that doesn't give them an unfair advantage.
    - Inventory:
    Even with the addition of the ingredient pouch, Wynncraft (and Minecraft as a whole) struggles with inventory management. In order to fix this, I propose a few changes:
    - The ingredient pouch is now just called a pouch and has a few different sections that you can click on after clicking on the pouch item in your inventory.
    - The sections in the pouch are:
    - Ingredient pouch (same as before)
    - Coin purse (a pouch with the 9 slots for emeralds or emerald blocks)
    - Powder bag (a bag for powders and runes)
    - Perhaps a potion/consumable bag? (could be too op)
    - These different sections (and perhaps more space in them) would be unlocked for achieving certain level milestones, completing certain quests, and paying emeralds just like bank pages are unlocked (specifics have not been determined).
    - Other Champion Features:
    Particularly the /switch command, which is incredibly useful. It pairs incredibly well(dare I say too well?) with bomb bell and is in general useful to not have to go back to hub. I think this feature should be given to all players who purchase a rank for the sake of convenience. It's too useful to be Hero+ and would be a really nice quality of life change.
    - Wars:
    Wars as they are right now are pretty cool, but there are a few flaws, and here are my suggestions to those:
    - Limit the number of mobs that spawn in wars and/or try to spawn them closer to the players in the war, so they can be killed faster and don't pile up, lowering fps
    - All of 99loulou99's suggestions, including adding tributes in the guild output screen, a way to test wars and towers, bringing back the dps/heals/damage taken leaderboard, guild bank log, allowing chiefs to change the guild icon, changes to war attack messages, HQ confirmation message, and adding a way to know who the tower is targeting
    - Allow strategists to set HQ if there is not currently one set
    - Clientside Loot Chests:
    Pretty self explanatory. Clientside loot chests allow for a better lootrun experience in general, prevent sniping, and seem very possible given clientside player ghosts and resource nodes. I think the CT has talked about adding this and that they'd add it if they had time, but it's still worth putting here

    The jumping to bank page thing is in Wynntils? Or at least I think it is. I have Wynntils and it's there, so I assume it's not vanilla but I could be incorrect. Ofc just because it's a Wynntils feature doesn't mean it shouldn't be added for vanilla players.

    It's vanilla, but has no texture in vanilla so most people don't notice it.

    I especially agree with the professions argument, I think profs were a pretty cool economic addition to the game, however I cannot do profs anymore, I think I got to around level 70 in a few and I could not continue, it's just the most mind numbing thing in the game, I think profs COULD stay as a req for tome slots, but it should be lower than what it is now by a decent amount.

    I suggest profs being a requirement for gathering tome slots so they aren't necessary and actually benefit further professions.

    The jumps can't be customized.
    Not sure why they are saying you can, unless I'm uninformed, but I'm 99% sure it's not a thing.

    they are customizable in wynntils so they may have thought that was a vanilla feature.

    Trade market filters should be a thing, at least they should add lowest price - highest price and vice versa

    I think there is a setting on the right side of your bank but I’m not 100% sure cause I haven’t customized mine.

    I just think you dont fully understand why the tax is there and that it is nessesary. I dont think its too much either. you pay small fee to have your item be seen by so many more people and trying to advertise it manually. It works out fine in a time vs money sense imo. And yes the price filter would be nice

    Fair enough, it's still quite annoying. Maybe it could be a flat fee as opposed to percentage based? or at least scale differently.

    Trade market taxes are unnecessary and should be removed. That's pretty much it. Perhaps an option to sort items by price (suggested by BlazingBrick)? (A potential yet unrelated idea is to add a price ceiling to certain rarities of items, but again that's just an idea and has several holes.)


    we need taxes to slow inflation
