Maybe Nerf The Corrupter Of Worlds...?

So I just finished getting the stuff required to fight the Corrupter of Worlds (CoW) and I was not even CLOSE to beating him. And im a shaman. Maybe bring down the health to around 75000 to 100000 and make it so he doesn't go i am speed and do laps around the arena because then i cant spam aura :(. I think all the other spells are fine tho. I know hes called corrupter of world for a reason but like cmon 150000 health for a lvl 68?

 

This boss has been in the game for years. And gear has improved. Most ppl struggle at first, but after a few times when you learn its moves you'll adept and beat him.

 

Or just go back at lv. 99 when there aren't any (weren't any) quests and defeat all the bosses skipped earlier...

 

Honestly that's pretty much what everyone does: waits until lv 100 to defeat CoW, Bob's Reincarnation, ToA, and Thunder Division.

 

Well I did whole Qira hive somewhere around 90 or 95 but yes.

 

Honestly when I tried defeating Thunder I failed miserably but then discovered I was still using Spiritshock lmao

Well I use full Morph and Cryoseism so everything was fine (apart from Water division where I used a different relik)

 

CoW is hard first time around but after that you'll get better. I've heard it described as "baby's first superboss" which I think is accurate, although many new and updated midlevel quests are starting to get stronger bosses. In general, you ned to learn how to use your spells effectively

 

It was stronger once, but it got changed so many times I lost count. Is hard at first, but you'll figure it out.

CoW is a really fun challenge for his level and I would prefer if he wasn't nerfed whatsoever

 

tbh in 1.20 he felt supringly easy and slow(what??) when i ran him as archer. as both archer and shaman i nearly nohitted him with basic spell builds, though i don't think he needs a buff with so many new players struggling with the fight

 

Corrupter of Worlds resembles a massive difficulty spike for bosses, and if you think CoW is too hard, you certainly haven't heard of Bob's Reincarnation. Also he has 150k hp now?!? He had 100k hp the last time I checked...

Well, at least I don't do it. And to be fair, I see it as less likely for players to do these bosses at higher levels on their later classes, as they get more skilled in the game on consecutive playthroughs, but ok.

Most people just get help from lvl 104s. Its supposed to be a really hard boss bc it teaches the player "Shit gets real from here"

 

This boss teaches us that friendly lvl 100 players exist

 

I'd say it's a tendency to just get Qira Hive or ToA done in a single sitting, mainly since they're both pretty hard to get to. Thanos and Lusuco scrolls still don't exist.

but yea it's more common on those two quests. i personally still tend to do them in the intended way, as doing the entire ToA at once is incredibly tedious and Hive is actually pretty fun
