What do you think is the average droprate of a T2 corkian amplifier from TCC

 

i dont know since ive used some of the t1 and t2s ive gotten, but i would say theyre more than 4 times less common than cork amp 1s

Still completely agree with everything. Even legendary tomes at tier 2 should be still somewhat better than tier 1 with something more added to them other than being gathering xp tomes exclusive to Tier 2+ (I think).
Out of my 15 runs i've done of TCC ive only found 1 mythic tome which is just rainbow %elemental def with less %resistance than fableds. So yea, at least buff mythics even at tier 2 to have stronger attributes that fabled already has instead of awful single ele def% or rainbow

 

TCC legendary tomes are fine for what they are IMO, its just that they're so common and potentially not useful depending on what sorta player you are, that they're not really suitable to be the type of tome to be guaranteed upon completion.

 

if we make comparison only with the armoury tomes in TCC and Groot not including any unnecessary factors we can actually do math to figure out how lacking TCC tomes really are. I had to do some math to figure out if 5% dmg mob resistance (any substat you want) was better than 2% dmg mob resistance and like 500 hp and here were those results
(I assume that dmg mob resistance is a separate calculation)

ALSO FYI YOU GET HP ARMOURY TOMES FROM GROOTSLANG 100% (Also fabled armoury tomes can give spell dmg % and 3% mob dmg resistance)
imo I think that TCC tomes are kinda lacking compared to grootslang you do get some profit back by doing TCC by selling the T3 materials you get from TCC but other than that its mostly for fun and those corkian amps for rolls

One thing that I don't think has been mentioned yet is weapon tomes. I've completed TCC 32 times and not gotten a single one. Are they even in the game?

 

lv. 100 fabled weapon tomes and mythic weapon tomes drop from the ophion raid. lvl 60 legendary and fabled tomes drop from grootslang. endgame weapon tomes used to drop from TCC on beta, but they swapped it around for whatever reason.

 

So you're saying the hardest raid (looking at level) doesn't drop ANY weapon tomes? Aight guess I'm running NOTG 30 times for that extra 14%

 

TCC and ophion are meant to be equal in difficulty. however, since ophion is tied to a quest, it has the option of doing it with like 6 lvl 75/80s, but its meant to be run with 4 max lvl players, much like TCC. (also the fact it doesnt drop weapon tomes is a blessing, imagine trying to get 2 or 4 of a specific tome when the potential tomes you can get doubles? also allows you to grind a raid depending on what you need/want to grind for)

 

I like it, it's just something else to get, with the possibility of working your way up to white passively.
I would raise the chance to get black over brown, however.

yeah, max mob dmg resist vs the ehp the grootslang tomes give. (lets be honest those ele defs dont matter)

 

from what ik max mythic mob dmg resistance is 5% or 6% which I already did above soooo

 

its 6%, and turns out 4 max mythic tomes have a lower EHP than 4 grootslang tomes lol

 

The grootslang tomes have hp to counter the fact that you can’t wear 4 at level 60 and the fact that they give less % resistance but the hp on them is still way too powerful.

 

oh yeah i get it, but its still really funny that mythic tomes are so weak that the level 60 fabled tomes out class them in providing more EHP, especially since thats the main point of the mythic tomes.
