World Finish The Gale-ohms Mystery

In 2016, @Selvut283 started a thread. One that was the official information hub for a secret that was added into the game in the most recent update.

As of Tuesday last week, that thread is 5 years old.

And nothing has come from it.

From what I know, this was the start of a planned ''Runicraft mystery'' that Selvut was working on. Runicraft was a MMO minecraft project that was started before Wynncraft was even conceptualized, headed by Selvut and some friends. Since the project was cancelled, Selvut moved on to Wynn and decided to hide references to the developers of Runicraft into the game. The characters who are references to this pre-wynn MMO are:

Gale (The Hive)
Ohms (Unseen character)
Ensa (Unseen)
Rycar (Also unseen)
Tisaun Sodeta (Mentioned, has grave in Cinfras that stayed even after 1.20)
Cerid (Mentioned, created Fallen factory)
Remikas (Mentioned, founded Gavel)

All of these characters. Every. Single. One of them. Has their own item ingame.

Presumably the way to get this ''set'' of items was to complete all of their mysteries, This would've been such a cool easter egg. But, this is pretty much 100% scrapped as of 1.20.

Why?

All of their items can now be obtained from corrupted dungeon rewards now.

Despite this, all 3 of the Runicraft secret-associated places remain ingame. Gale's grave behind the hive, Ohms' lab above Lusuco, and Tisaun's grave at Cinfras. Ignore the Tisaun one because that's pretty much irrelevant now and will probably be used for something else since the dialogue on the grave still says that there is potential for something but not yet. This thread is about Gale and Ohms.

One of my favourite easter eggs in the game is the Gale-Ohms mystery, and there are still people in this community who search for stuff relating to it. Since I doubt we haven't found everything, this is unfinished. I could be wrong though, maybe Selvut has just been hiding something for the past 5 years and it's still on the map for us to find.

I think it's time to finally add a conclusion of some sort to this though. The way I think it was supposed to work is:

Go to Gale's grave
Throw an Ohms' wish onto it to open it up
Get whatever is inside
Go to Lusuco
Get the key from the frozen iron golems (they still drop these to this day)
Open Ohms' lab with a potion
Use the item from Gale's grave in conjunction with the key to teleport to the inner lab
Defeat Ohms and he drops Ohms' rage and Gale's sight

Problem is, Ohms' wish doesn't open the grave, probably because the hopper doesn't fully work yet as it's not finished. Either that or you need a perfect Ohms' wish which is unlikely. I don't think Selvut forgot about this which is very interesting because you would think it would have been updated by now if that was the case..
I seriously still want to believe that something has just gone under the radar for the past 5 years but surely someone would have found it by now...

My suggestions on how to update this are:

Add a quest for it similar to ???
Literally just modernize it like the Talking mushroom Ariodo lab secret was in 1.20

Yeah I think most players have no idea what Ohms and Gale even are

 

It's still under the radar and in planning. The things I need to finish it haven't been made yet, despite being intended for years at this point. The gear has nothing to do with discovering the mystery- Requiring people to sacrifice gear is something I stated multiple, multiple times that I would NEVER do. They were originally going to be drops from raids, back when those were initially planned for Gavel's release, but due to internal chicanery that never happened, so the compromise was to make them into dungeon drops instead. Your guesses are all wrong.
