Probably so people cannot just get a bunch of people in a war and one shot HQs
You can do multiple wars now so I guess it balances out somewhat

If we couldn't even get an official statement on the trade market being down for a month I really don't think they're going to say anything about this, especially when it's very apparent that nobody who made these changes actually cares about what effect they're having on the guild community.

Ngl, its very obvious they're just putting guilds on the backburner rn and cant be bothered to deal with our issues now when we need them fixed. Like, we all get that the first patch is incredibly important to get out, but listening to people in guilds & implementing those small changes (like putting the player caps back & stuff) are also incredibly important to our community.

Ngl, but it's very obvious that admins haven't put guilds on the back burner for this update. If guilds had been on the back burner, then neither admins nor QA would have spent so much time redeveloping them, and testing them. Admins are listening to guilds and just because some guilds are under the impression, of their own, that certain changes will make things better, in the future, doesn't make it reality. I'm sorry that changes made with this update, specifically WARS GETTING A MASSIVE OVERHAUL, THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY PROMISED BUT NOT DELIVERED DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, doesn't make the entire guild community believe that the guild community matters to Wynn. The overhaul is just that; a rework of guilds and guild game design. It's very similar to reworking items; we are looking at balancing everything in the future. We know that some changes are going to hurt, some are going to be neutral, and some are going to be welcomed, -today-. But, to say that we don't care? To believe that admins aren't balancing guilds for the future? If we didn't care, we'd just leave everything the way we made it, the first time, listen to nothing that was said, good or bad, and leave it exactly as it was. THAT is the very definition of not caring.

I'm sorry, but I fail to see how asking the admins to set up a more fair leveling system that doesn't invalidate years of effort and not removing guilds slots is not gonna work "in reality".

Not saying there was no care put into anything, but what you just said sounds exactly like what happened after the initial round of changes to guilds were made. People have been extremely vocal about the issues the have with the new guild system for the past two months and somehow none of the major concerns were even addressed, much less implemented. We want to be on the side of the people making this game but you all make it so hard for no reason. It's all vague cryptic nonsense when all we're asking for is a justification for why some things were done and why the developers aren't open to certain changes. If I can write 15 pages about this update in a couple hours I see no reason why somebody can't be bothered to write a few hundred words explaining why they made the system they did, what the goals of it were, what the hard limitations on it are and why those limitations mean some of the more common concerns (like a higher guild cap and weird level adjustment) can't really be solved. All we're asking for is an open line of communication, it really shouldn't be asking too much for something as simple as that.

That is incorrect. It wasn't a higher level vs lower level situation. It did not matter what level you were at because level requirements are scaled to your level range. A level 50 guild with 50% xp would virtually hop the same amount of levels as a guild at say level 70 with 50% xp.

It all came down to what percentage you were at. If you had just leveled up recently and were at like 3% into your next level, you barely benefitted whereas, for example, a guild one level behind you at 99% would have left you in the dust. And that's exactly what happened. The whole level issue is mainly because of the fact slots are dependent on it, hence why it was a concern.

They also basically removed all the grindable sources for xp income, so leveling went down the drain.

If anything though, this update completely screwed small guilds over.
