Below-13 Mode

Wynncraft is an amazing server with the best builds I've ever seen. The lore's coverage is much better and deeper than any MMORPG server that people will ever see. It's flawless in every way, except one.
I discovered Wynncraft while I was looking up videos about Grian and building. Of course, with such a beautiful map, I'd like to introduce it to people around me, especially to a young and talented Minecraft builder, but...

This is where the problem starts - while I was searching up the age recommendations for Wynncraft, there has been a result as high as 17, and a few at 13+. I did this after I recommended Wynncraft to them, so I have to warn them about the contents.
Perhaps a toggle for below-13 mode could be practical, by tweaking some gory moments or similar. The lore I've checked out so far seemed good and even some moments may be fine as long as it's in text. There's also countless quests where the story can take a really dark turn, and at least one of those can be altered slightly for below-13 mode.
Since providing a map download for Wynncraft can lead to people recreating parts of it, the only practical way to get a close-up for the builds is to reach it. Additionally, for people who don't want certain moments but hates grinding for EXP, and at the same time loves the RPG nature of Wynncraft, perhaps a toggle to turn off those moments could be helpful?

All decisions about this matter is up to the Wynncraft Builders. But, whichever is the case, I look forward to the Wynncraft Update. Keep up the great work, Wynncraft Builders!

 

It's particles from redstone... and it's not really meant to be ages 2-10 Minecraft as a whole, not the server.. Minecraft on PC is rated 13+ and not licensed for online interactions. So yeah, pretty sure 13 year olds and up can deal with some depth in story and not cry over a block man exploding.

Your suggestion look like a troll post, but I will answer like it was a normal post. I dont think making Wynncraft a game for kid is interesting and I would even really enjoy if the server manages to split from this kids friendly thing that minecraft offers. I think it would be great if the dev team adds more mature contents and themes.

 

I think if Wynncraft became more family-friendly, it would kind of ruin the lore because some kids games like Super Mario have little to no lore and all of the games follow the same plot, and also not to mention, there are filters for the game to turn off the gore and swears.

 

Imo Wynncraft caters too much towards kids (or people with similar mindsets) as it is. If anything I feel this should be lessened.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't like them! I started playing quite a few years ago basically at launch when I was 11 and I've never seen anything through my journey that I felt was inappropriate. But then again these quests are newer ones, someone above said the server's meant to be 13+ and I don't know if that's an official age or whatnot but I would say anyone 12ish and up can manage everything in the server. I would say the only difficulties at that age are perhaps some complex mechanics may put him/her off and the player chat which is unregulated

yeah not gonna lie i legitimately pissed myself whilst doing enzans brother for the first time it was actually downright terrifying

forget enzans brother what about poisoning the pest when the guy explodes it is like giygas from earthbound + sans blundertale i was so scared that all the farming miniquests autocompleted because i fertilized the entirety of wynn and i dont need to do any quests about the decay anymore

 

Sorry for not reading into Wynncraft, and also sorry for my wording.
I guess what I really wanted to say is that even now (I'm 16), I still can't stand some of the scenes.
I guess what I mean is that I've tried the toggle for blood and it still didn't change the scene of the blocky man exploding. I guess instead of just exploding, they could die the classic Minecraft Death.
Also, I really like the builds, but it's a bit hard to let someone younger than 13 see it without experiencing some other things.
