About The Wynncraft Site And Changing Your Mc Username...

Hi, I have a little something to talk about.

So a while ago I changed my Minecraft username. Ever since then I've been having issues with the "stats" Wynncraft website. That fact doesn't bother me as much as this whole silly issue does. I've looked into it and it seems like people go on for a year sometimes and it still doesn't update. Why?

Apparently you seem to have some sort of tool that updates usernames, then when the hell does that tool even run? Cause a tool that runs once per year is a really bad idea.

My point is to just deal with this situation better, either by checking the player's username when they join for example? You could say this causes heavy load, but I don't think it does if you do it on a local scale. If you make a data file that stores the player's UUID and last known name, you can check that file everytime the player joins. Look up the UUID and see if the current name equals that last registered name, if it does then continue and don't do anything, if it doesn't then just set that last known name = the new name and update the stats site.

It doesn't have to update the stats site immediately, it could do it overnight, perhaps? But you get my point. This really needs to get fixed. It's silly.

ALSO WHY IS THE SERVER LIST NOT IN ORDER LIKE 1, 2, 3 AND INSTEAD IT'S LIKE 25, 12 , 35 SEEING IT MAKES ME SO UNCOMFORTABLE?!?@>#!>?

the stats page is generally somewhat dated/has problems. colin350 is working on it, but it's not really high on the priority list i think.

I read something from Salted(?) recently about the compass changing in 1.20...

 

In 1.2o, I can say that it does recommend a world to you when you open the lobby compass

whether it's in order, I hadn't noticed :)
