[profiles] Clone Character Option

It is what it sounds like - don't get the wrong idea, I'm aware it sounds super exploitable, but hear me out:

Allow players to clone a class/character into an empty slot.
Cloning will ONLY clone experience levels, quest progress, and statistical information. NO items will be cloned. This should remove all possible exploits with the system (such as duping items). If you want to move your items over to the cloned character, you can do so by putting everything in the bank and taking it out.

Why would this be useful?
Gavel is about to update. I just got my character to level 42 and I want to keep playing but I also want to save Gavel for after it gets updated (all my current quests are within Gavel, and half my future quests will also be in Gavel). This would theoretically be applicable to every major update to an existing area, as you could create a clone before you start experiencing certain content, and then continue playing until the update, then go back on the clone to experience that content.

 

I think this is a good idea, but I worry that it would take a very long time.
The fact that deleting classes takes so long...

 

This could be used to get easily money.

Get a class to lv. 75 class.
Clone it several times.
Do The Ultimate Weapon quest.
Sell the dagger.
Do the rest of the money-making quests

 

most of that time is because of hackers not data

I'm in ur same boat. There's lots of jungle stuff to do and just grind herb cave. Also do the quest hollow seriene and fighting species before they get removed.

Yea champion gets instant class deletion so its probably not that bad

 

Actually the class backup doesn't really help against them. All hackers have to do is create another 5 classes

Nevermind. Didn't realize there were so many issues outside of directly duping inventories.
Just don't want to do stuff in Gavel when it's about to get updated, but I still want to play, but I don't want to start over again on a new character because I just did all the quests. Didn't think of how exploitable this would be.

>complete all quests, dungeons, discoveries, secret discoveries, boss altars, etc
>get hero rank
>clone the above class 13 times
>instant top spot in leaderboards

Should have wait before brute-leveling my character up to 63~ level with boring old quests and Troms mine zombies.

 

Quests that get heavy reworks tend to need to be recompleted after the update, I wouldn’t worry too much about the fully reworked quests.

 

Didn't know the leaderboards didn't take only the highest character of each class. And if you're cloning, you have a bunch of repeat classes.
