World Signpost (100% Agree, 116 Supporters)

So a while ago, I made a post about adding a sign pointing to Thanos. This is an extension of that, instead referring to signs all over Gavel, especially with 1.20 coming out.

1. Qira hive. At the exit of Thanos, add one sign pointing to the entrance of the Hive.

2. Thanos. Near Cinfras County, there is a fork, one path leading to Ozoth, one leading to Thanos. Add one signpost indicating which path goes towards Thanos.

3. Ahmsord. Add more signs pointing to the different islands, and to Ahmsord and Kandon-Beda.

4. Light forest. Add more signs pointing to Aldorei.

5. Olux Swamp and Dark forest. Add more signposts indicating Olux, and more showing the location of Gellibord. Some could also be near Llevigar pointing to the swamp location.

6. Molten Heights. There should be one signpost near the entrance to the Heights indicating the location of Maex and Rodoroc, as well as the Freezing Heights. Maybe some indicators near the cities pointing to the elevators to get to the Upper Heights?

7. Cinfras. There are signposts in the city, but there are too little and most of them are overly inconspicuous. Therefore, it can get difficult to locate specific houses. As such, the solution would be to place some signposts in obvious locations near the city centre, pointing to certain houses.

 

This would be very useful especially with the rework and people not knowing the new layouts.

Yeah there is no reason to vote no. Mostly anything that helps players understand something is a positive.

 

YES, also a compass thing on top of the post, maybe one of those N E S W arrow things. Also it would fit into the Wynncraft world very well

The only issue I see is that some of the signs don't quite fit in with the lore, such as signs to the light realm (it's not a location travelers would go to often in this world, so there's no reason to have one), or a sign to Ozoth (it makes no sense to make signs that lead to a huge angry dragon in the same way that you would make signs that lead to big cities). Other than that, it's a great QOL suggestion.

 

Yes, some things wouldn't fit in.
However, you can make markers other than signposts.
A change in blocks to a theme, a broken warning sign, elemental chaos, etc.

No, there is a feature that allows you to draw your own paths. It is almost useless though.

 

The feature enables you to draw lootrunninng paths on the ground so you don’t get off your route i think.

damnb its almost like a majority of players don't use wynntils and we shouldn't not add something because a mod has it
