Dungeons Let Us Teleport Back To Boss Rooms When We Log Out On Dungeon Bosses

The number of times I've started dungeon bosses only to see "The server is restarting in 1 minute" appear on my screen is kind of absurd, so please give us some way to get back to the boss room when this happens.

One way to do this might be to teleport the player to a replica of the dungeon entrance (like what happens in many quests) where entering the dungeon no longer requires a key and the entrance teleports you to the boss room.

If this isn't possible at the very least give the player a dungeon key when they are teleported out so that we don't have to spend time getting runes and finding key guardians.

This could be used to get free keys to sell if you enter using a dungeon bomb.

 

Or make it so you get teleported right outside boss door upon relogging. The number of times I've been disconnected from the server (due to internet issues) whilst in a boss room and then coming back only to find I have to redo the entire dungeon... it hurts. Along with the server restarting messages but luckily I tend to catch that before going into the boss room so I just switch worlds and continue on with the fight.

This isn’t a good idea. You should have common sense not to enter a dungeon if the server is gonna shut down soon, and if it is just go to another server. This is an easy fix to a problem that shouldn’t be accruing in the first place.

 

No dungeon boss besides EO should take upward of 10 minutes, and EO lets you restart unless you are on the last phase. Plus if people are about to die they will just /class to reset the boss fight.

 

/class before dying results (most of the time) in you still dying and losing your sp tho...

they cant make keys untradable as that would destroy the key selling part of the economy

 

This wouldn't make all keys untradeable, just the one you get from being kicked from the boss room.

 

This seems like an okay idea, idk how to feel about it honestly. Maybe make it so that you can only re-enter and get the key if you're kicked by the server? This will not eliminate, but might reduce, the amount of people abusing this. I'm not sure, though.

 

I guess they could add more textures to fix the problem, but I dont think they really care about it, its just not worth doing as its very hard to fix.
