How To Abuse Champion Rank

hey wynncrafters, i saw the news on the new awesome cool champion rank!

So here's a guide to abuse it before it's even out:

If you're a lootrunner...
Use /switch to instantly switch into the most optimal world for lootrunning using other means (such as the lootrunners discord) and gain access to chests faster than those disgusting nons. +reserve worlds if they're full of course. Cheers!


If you're an xp grinder...
Bomb bell and /switch give instant priority to champions, faster than any non-champion can dream of entering the world. Add to the fact that there are reserved slots, and you're most likely never missing a world if you're somewhat of a fast typer. Cheers!

If you're a hunter...
Piss off and be able to stalk every one of your profession prey by having access to bomb bell to quickly find their bombs. Furthermore use /switch + reserve worlds to be able to be there and kill them without hassle. Cheers!

Hey, good job! You're already learning to abuse a rank before it's even out! Don't tell anybody this, but I think this is going to make wynncraft so much of a better place. Make sure to get your daddys credit card ready! Those funds don't empty themselves <3.

Don't forget about setting your nickname as a hunter!

 

I don't see how its abuse to use the switch command for loot running, its not like people rush to certain worlds and first one on it get it. With the lootrunning discord people place dibs on worlds before even switching to them, so I don't see the unfairness here.

We don't really know for sure what the bomb bell does, so its unclear if its going to be a notification or not.

This update introduces gathering xp ID's so there's no need to use hunted mode anymore, just craft gathering xp armor and hunters are no more. This was something they should've implemented last year, but at least now there's no real reason to use hunted to gather.

no, just anywhere it can be hovered over in chat. it also doesn't obfuscate the pvp tag (unless there's a bug)

salted was leaking stuff the other day and I asked him about it, if you dig through his messages you will probs find them eventually

The fact we think it ping only the champion clearly shows the lack of explanation. Perhaps it is really good perk for everyone, but unless told otherwise most people think it is bad...

 

This changes nothing for lootrunning though? The chest cooldown still exists so /switch is meaningless.

 

Yes exactly, the lack of information has led to worries, hopefully it will be addressed.

 

i havent even talked about the wizard fortress champion rank abuse, dont get me started.

 

If the hunter xp bonus stacks with gathering xp items then people will likely just use both given how abysmally slow grinding gathering is. Any advantage helps.

 

Yep, but since the option to now get bonus without risking dying exists I would say that profers no longer have the right to complain about hunters, because there would be the boost without the risk. So that would entail them willingly choosing this risk compared to previously that being the only option.

 

I highly doubt anyone would be so reckless that they disregard the fact they can easily lose valuable armor to hunters which are quite a large group right now. Obviously people will switch from Hunted to non-hunted with gathering xp gear ( if they have the resources to do so).
Also current gathering is really easy, unless you are willing to go for such extremes as 120+ for no reason.

 

But that depends on how much xp % the crafted armor would give.

 

After I pointed out that all our other concerns were clarified and it's suspicious nobody said anything about it, Salted said that it was exactly what we thought is was, no need for clarification since the first assumption is clearly the right one.
