    Before you read on, just know that I understand that this will likely be ignored by the wynn dev team and that’s fine by me. I won't be heartbroken if it doesn't get into the game. It's a suggestion not a demand. That being said, it's not intended as a meme.

    Also please don't pass over this because "too sci-fi, doesn't fit into wynncraft, name isn't wynncraftian enough, its a medieval fantasy world, etc."

    If something doesn't fit into the lore, please tell me why? Also do remember there is a lvl 41 quest in Llevigar where you Fix A Nuclear Powerplant. So yeah. Maybe not Nuclear, but it is about the blow up in a way that could remove a city and has a bunch of wiring. Close enough.

    *Cough Cough* Sorry about that, just wanted to get that out of the way...

    Lore: "Maniacs who fight with technological magic, these warriors use explosives with no care for themselves or others. Their weaponry is often as dangerous to themselves as it is to their opponents. However, there is no denying the strength that they wield.

    As to their origin, we know little. To our knowledge, these Bombardiers, as they are known, were created by our neighbours the Corkians during a supposed rebellion against Fruma. However we assume, the secret of the class was stolen by Fruman spies and was propagated throughout the provinces from where it leaves only through extenuating circumstances making the class a thankfully rare one to come across. We, however, must deal with their violent experiments on a daily basis."

    NOTE: As I said in the previous version of the Lore, I know very little about the people I mention in the Lore, if I mess something up, please do tell me. I used the Avians as they are neighbours to the Corkians (from what I could tell from the wiki) and as such probably have come into contact with the class.

    Most of the info I used comes from the wynncraft wiki which I have heard is outdated. Hopefully that doesn't apply to the relevant lore.

    EDIT: This was a revision of the previous lore in an attempt to describe how Bombardiers got into wynn (via the tutorial) and how Fruma got access to the class. That said, I used the person I thought would be the most knowledgeable about the class.


    Weapon: Fire Charges – Explodes on contact with first thing it touches but no pierce.


    L-R-L: Bomb Blitz 6 mana

    1. Throw 8 bombs (fire charge) in the cardinal directions (N-NE-E… etc) around you.
    Each deals 150% dmg – 30% fire 15% earth


    2. Timed Fuse: Bombs gain +1 pierce (go through one enemy without exploding) and explode on the next enemy.


    3. Incendiary: Burns enemies it touches: 80% dmg over 5 secs


    L-L-L: Rocket Jump 4 mana

    1. Throw a bomb behind you (opposite direction to crosshairs) giving you a boost and damaging enemies behind you. 50% damage


    2. Jetpack: Gain a small boost mid-air by pressing the shift key. Boost goes towards crosshairs.


    3. Bombing Run: Throw 5 bombs under you when you use the jetpack. Each does 20% dmg.


    L-R-R: TNT 7 mana

    1. Place a block of TNT at your location that will explode after 2 seconds dealing 300% dmg – 40% Earth 20% Fire


    2. Pressure Wave: Knockback all mobs. The closer they are to the explosion, the more they are knocked back. (e.g. a zombie is 1 block away = 5 blocks of kb, 2 blocks away = 3 blocks of kb, 4 blocks away = 1 block of kb leading to grouped enemies – synergises with Bombardier’s explosive weps.)


    3. Shock and awe: Stuns mobs for 1 second


    L-L-R: Powder Keg 10 mana

    1. Throw a powder bomb (think Assassin’s smoke cloud) that weakens the defence of all mobs standing inside it. I've decided (read below) to make it -30% of all ele defences. E.g. a boss has 1000 Fire defence, this would reduce it by 300.

    (NOTE: I've been thinking about this one for a while now and i'm not quite sure how I would like it to be. I have the general idea for the spell and I like tier 2 and 3, but tier 1 is giving me problems.

    Basically, its a spell meant to make the rest of the bombardier's abilities do more damage so a strength buff, right? Weeelll, its not that simple. I want it to be all enemies inside the cloud take more dmg from Bombardier alone. It's not a support class and it's meant to represent a weakness to explosions.

    I've been toying with the idea of removing 50% ele defences, and i think that might be the best solution even if it will be a very strong class in certain situations and it's probably abusable. (I've heard that certain bosses are difficult because of high ele def which this would completely nullify. Perhaps a static amount of reduction?)

    EDIT: Someone suggested just lower resistances, saying that it would be easier to understand, and being a victim of wynncraft's mechanic confusion, I decided to take their suggestion. I'll include both versions to see which people say are better.)


    2. Fire in the hole: Gain speed 2 as long as you remain in the cloud.


    3. Powdered Clothes: Bombardier creates a line of smoke for the next 10 blocks following him upon leaving the cloud.

    This would likely be a damage dealing class with high damage but little to no support (only spell 3 has any knockback and spell four has some potential utility (please do take a look at it, im really not sure about it) Even then, spell 3 wouldn't help other classes too much.

    I've decided to make it's stats something like this:

    Damage: 4/5 (damage dealer needs damage)
    Defence: 3/5 (not quite glass cannon, but with no heal and always in the middle of everything, it feels deserved.)
    Range: 2/5 (Projectile's shouldn't go very far and all spells are close to mid range)
    Spells: 4/5 (Main fire power, also, would be weird if literal TnT wasn't very strong.)

    How I visualise the Bombardier working is grouping up enemies to make the most usage out of it's main attack or spells. Spell one and 2 are good if you mess it up and become surrounded, they do damage and can be a get-out-of-jail-free card. OTOH, you can deliberately become surrounded, use spell 3 to group the enemies up even more, then use spell 1 to blast them. Spell four can also be useful in such a situation, group 'em up, plant the bomb, and get the hell out. If enemies aren't tightly grouped however, you will lose a lot of potential damage from the main attack as it doesn't pierce. The second spell has a bit of leeway in it's second tier having minor pierce but a timed fuse. Other than that, all spells are aoe so make the most of the radius of effect.

    I don't think more class suggestions will hurt

    Also, seems like a cool class idea, I like the movement spell

    And you should add a poll
    Something like "should this be implemented" with "Yes" and "no" as options

    Hey, given that this appears to be a class suggestion, I've moved it into the "General Suggestions" part of the forums. If you aren't suggesting this however and just want to show off a concept, I can alternatively moved it to "Your Work"!

    Thx for telling me about the suggestions; I didn't see it existed mb. That said, i felt it was generally wynncraft related and I wasn't really telling the wynncraft team to implement the idea as I said in my first paragraph.

    As for your second point, I don't see why having a lot of class ideas is a bad thing? I mean, I can understand being frustrated if there are people who just want a ridiculous class to play around with but I was trying to make it fit into wynncraft even if it won't be implemented. I don't see the problem with that.

    Conhratulations! Your suggestion is quite above average, although it could be propably improved.

    We have more than enough "warrior sucks", "EO run", "fix wars", guild etc. threads already.

    I understand that most threads in past were terrible, but just saying "no" with the only reason that it exists is just bad...
    Don't discourage people from even trying. Who knows how these treads can help them im the future, or if the DEVs like it and want to implement it?

    I don't get it. You know it but...

    In the recover the past quest (and also the tutorial) it is mentioned that the Player Character comes from Fruma. That's why I thought it would be weird to have a class that comes from Corkus without some info on how it got to Fruma or why it isn't unique to Corkus.

    That said, it is the one part of the Lore which I am unsure of.

    Here are my problems with this thread

    While Corkus is technically a Fruman area, it does not have access to the province. Likewise, Frumans are unable to get to corkus. The story of Fruma is that everybody stays there forever, but if you commit a crime you are brainwashed and sent as a soldier to Wynn to make their truly evil province look good. I would change the story of this class and say that the Wynn army was given blueprints for a powerful explosive weapon. For example, the crafting recipe could be weaponsmithing and the items needed are 1 oil 2 metal.

    Rocket jump is literally just Escape but if you made everything the opposite. Instead of aiming at the floor you want to launch from, you aim where you want to jump to. Instead of sneaking to go down, you sneak to go up.

    Overall, a very good suggestion. I suggest that the hero rank variant should be called ''Demolitionist''. (i can't think of any hero spell names)

    Yes i did see when I was writing the concept that the Movement spell was very similar. I was thinking of being able to teleport to any thrown bomb while it's in the air but wasn't quite sure how to make it work. Also, I feel that despite it being similar, the way you would use it would be different. I feel like it has more of an offensive purpose with the bombing run and the jetpack and the spell shooting you in the direction of the crosshair would also make it more manoeuvrable compared to Archer's escape. Also, the sneak would be a boost in whichever direction you are aiming rather than just straight up or down. It could be used for either.

    As for the Lore, I had pretty much no idea how well that would fit into the current Lore so thank you for the suggestions! I'll maybe do a bit of research to see how I could improve it. Any suggestions would be nice.

    Also, I really like the crafting recipe idea, I feel like it would fit the mechanical theme.

    The 4th spell was also inspired by Smoke bomb, so that may also be slightly too similar. I just wasn't really sure what else to put for a utility.

    I have edited the Lore for the class. If there are any Lore Experts out there, please do read through it and see if it fits into Wynncraft lore.

    Avians and Corkians are at peace and rarely come into contact with eachother so I don't see how the avos would have to deal with bombardiers every day

    I guess that makes sense. I originally intended for it to be a more "They are so annoying" impression. I mean, this is a class with a lot of explosions, very noisy. Not as in we have to fight them; but i'll probs change it anyway to something clearer.

    EDIT: Changed it to make it clearer it was a sort of "annoyance" rather than an enemy.

    I think this is a very cool suggestion and adds some new corkian flair to the classes which i fully support. My only critique is that with the powder bomb and powdered clothes, I think having speed 2 for the time of it would be a good upgrade, that way you can you it as a defensive mechanism and wall off certain areas. Also lets you be a tron car B)

    I feel like making the second tier give speed while in the cloud could work as a get the hell out card, that might also soft buff powdered clothes as you would get more time to use it outside the cloud.

    It also may interact in a way where you gain speed boost for the duration of powdered clothes as well.

    Made an edit to the 4th spell, please take a look at it, i'm not very sure about it and I'm not experienced enough to know if it will be broken at higher levels.
    Added stats under the spells, it should add to 13, but once again, do tell me if you think it should be different.
    Also, had a bit of an outburst at the beginning of the post... oops?
