That line was actually supposed to imply that there are more strange artefacts in the jungle temples

Dernic magic still corrupts, it just looks like the Roots of Corruption when it's combined with light. It's meant to be the Silent Expanse's purple and black corruption.

Tisaun Sodeta is at NO POINT stated to have existed at this time. There is hardly any lore about him (although it is a good idea to include some) and it IS stated in A Hunter's Calling that the Twains did seal away CoW. These lines should be enough proof
Bak'al: Since then, he has been sealed in. The magic of the Twains is strong here. He cannot escape.
Bak'al: I am unfamiliar with Twain magic. Use the intellect I have given you. Break the seal.
Now sure, you could say that Sodeta took down CoW and the twains simply sealed him away, but once again there is no evidence that the Sodeta Guild even existed at the time. Delnar mansion may not even have existed yet. I'll do a Sodeta discovery soon because I do now agree that he needs some lore but I'm almost 100% positive that he wasn't the one who defeated CoW
I understand the argument that the elemental weaknesses are for gameplay purposes.

I am perfectly aware that there are 4 brothers, but I didn't mention him because:
All NPCs that are implied to talk about the Yahya brothers mostly refer to them as a trio (i think i saw that somewhere)
Sohso is only referenced in a secret room at the end of ??? and should stay that way until Fruma releases
I don't even think Sohso was researching the meteors because he saw that they were going insane and let them do their own thing (i forgot where i saw this)

Not a reason for them to ignore the plague. They could easily have heard the news from there. Originally the priest was indeed going to be from the house of taylor but I didn't know what kind of state the area was in at the time.

I was actually trying to imply that the plague doctor only did it for money. It was unclear as a fault of my terrible storytelling skills.

In A Journey Beyond, the people who had darkness were purified by Elven light magic.
That may just be for people, but it didn't make corruption. That's only through influence, isn't it?

 

The miners were never corrupted, they just look like they are because they lost their soul.

 

No, we the players and Elphaba, Lucio, and Aledar had darkness and were purified (not corrupted) by light magic from gavel by some guy on the Black Road.
