Website & Forums Some Nice Subforum And Prefix Ideas

I have some simple ideas for new subforums as well as prefixes. I will also suggest 1 change to a current subforum.

New prefixes:

New subforums (with a change to a current subforum)

The class build forum is already bigger than the planning parlour so I think it should be made its own standalone subforum. It should be added to Realm of Wynncraft and the same could be done for crafting recipes if it gets much bigger.

Now for the new subforums.

Roleplay
This would be a subforum found in Nemract's bar. It would be home to all roleplayers. It doesn't need prefixes.

HERO beta talk
This would be a new subforum found in the VIP plaza. This is to prevent unsuspecting forumers from having the update spoiled to them and to prevent the Wynncraft forum from being filled with HERO beta posts. All HERO beta posts would be moved here. There is a no-shitposting rule for this one because it's more serious than the VIP plaza. Prefixes would be:
Secret discovery
Quest
Dungeon
Lore

Whether or not this forum is HERO exclusive is up to you. People who do not have HERO are allowed to talk about it in the Wynncraft forum using the SPOILER tag.

Lore discussion
This one would be found in one of these 3 (can't decide which):
Wynncraft
Nemract's bar
The Realm of Wynncraft (as a standalone subforum)
It would be all about lore (as you could guess) and would be an interesting place to expand your Wynncraft knowledge.
Prefixes would be:
Character
Location
SPOILER
Quest
Secret discovery

Posts about new lore in the HERO beta would be allowed as long as they have the spoiler tag.

This might be a bit controversial as the lore community is not (or doesn't seem to be) so big to deserve one, although I totally support its creation from aforementioned reasons.

Since I voted on my poll I might as well explain my reasoning too:

I can definitely agree with all of those being added. For everything else: the tag/section either feels to niche or not really needed, as I feel like the forums have gone by fine without them.
But yeah, those new general suggestion tags are definitely needed, I'm tired of labeling everything as [world].

 

Some of these are pretty good, some I would really not want to have.

Spoiler: a short review

Wynncraft:
Discussion: GOOD. Something I can't really understand why it wouldn't be a standard prefix to begin with.
Challenge: BAD. There are very little challenge threads this would be relevant to, and more importantly, this is entirely covered by Community Event.

Questions:
Answer (for threads that explain an answer to a frequent question): MIXED. That is essentially a guide, which has its own thread prefix in Wynncraft, as well as (an admittedly not too updated) FAQ thread.
As for the other prefixes, it should probably just get the "Quest" prefix (although I could see something for Gear or Progression as well), the other ones are really unnecessary and probably are just going to end up confusing and unused.

The planning parlour:
Those are all fine, but would it be better to just have "Looking for Help" and "Giving Help" prefixes? They'd have to specify the dungeon/boss either way, and I don't really think categorizing is that useful for Planning Parlour, of all places.

Guilds:
Social: Well... no. There are other sections for that.
Warring: The thing is, there would be like one or two threads using this, a discussion thread (which would go much better in Wynncraft) or a guide (which would also go better in Wynncraft), so I don't really see any use for this. More useful prefixes would be being able to differentiate between Community Guild or Warring Guild.

General suggestions:
Quest: I mean, I guess? How often has that happened though, and how likely is it to happen again?
Class: Well, yeah, actually. There have been enough suggestions to warrant this, although I'm generally not the biggest fan of them.
Item & IDs: What if we packed all the technical stuff together in the much clearer and much more relevant prefix of "Mechanics"?

Chit-chat: Yeah, no. Didn't think so. Nemract's Bar is specifically made for "general chit-chat" (quoting from its description!) and the few things that DO deviate from that, have their own unique prefixes. It's like giving the Questions section a "Question" prefix.

Forum games:
i mean i love me some forum games but is this really needed

Lyrics: Dude there's literally a "Music" prefix, and "Lore/Story" or "Art" if you really want to go that far. I think you can count the amount of lyric and parody threads on two hands in the nearly 6 and a half thousand threads in Your Work.

This section doesn't really have any proper use and should die anyway, to be honest

Discussion: Sure, why not. All threads would mostly be discussion on Minecraft anyway, but since it doesn't have any tags I'll let it slide.

Featured Wynncraftian suggestions:
I don't think there should be any prefixes, considering there are usually very few suggestions to begin with, and tagging people with some thing they've done feels like it's a wrong thing to put someone into. Like, does making videos on Youtube make you less of a community member? Adding these tags feels like it'd be a change for the worse.

The new subforums I don't really agree with, not with any of them.
Class Builds is definitely very big, with many people looking for builds, but it's really not a big enough part of Wynn to warrant its own main section. By that logic things like dungeons, quests and other things would also deserve their own main section on the forums. I think Class Builds is very good in the place it currently is, although I don't particularly mind that changing too much.
Roleplays are already in Forum Games, and really don't need their own section. I'd like to see your arguments for it, though.
HERO Beta is a section that pops up whenever a new beta happens, and goes away whenever the beta is over, which is a completely fine system by me. Don't see hw it should be permanently stickied to VIP Plaza when it's hugely important non-ranked players are able to read it as well, and it has no need to exist outside of beta times.
Lore Discussion is already unofficially officially contained by the Spoiler tag in Wynncraft, and it's neither large nor important enough to become its own section. With that bandaid ripped off, I could see it becoming a new subsection of Wynncraft if we ever have lore becoming as big as it was back in like, 2016 (although I highly doubt that's ever going to happen again aside from right after a new update).

tl;dr add Discussion prefix in Wynncraft, add Quest prefix in Questions, add Mechanics to General Suggestions, the other suggestions are either bad or bring very little change
