idk if im the only one on this, but i think amadel deserves a lot more in the form of lore/appearances. idk why, but i just love amadel, his fight, and everything about him but he's just so underrated, he's kinda looked over.

he has a unique (at least at the time) arena, one of the first to have multiple forms, and his presentation as this otherworldly beast is really intriguing, but he's only really appeared in the end of a quest, with somewhat low stats. it would be cool for him to reappear some time, maybe in a wynn E quest? idk, i just feel like he's so underrated and has a lot of potential especially with his servant who could maybe work as a side boss/pre-amadel fight.

idk, just thought that amadel is really underrated and he deserves a lot more exposure and maybe another appearance, maybe in some legendary end-game quest like AHC, but with more/all of the past bosses like potentially a quest that has you revisit so many old, prominent quests such as maltics well, grave digger (since you robbed his grave, he has a reason to be rightfully annoyed), star thief, worm holes? qira hive, etc. would be cool!

None of that really makes sense from a lore perspective, nor does it sound like new and fun gameplay; just "more bosses", which if you were here when Gavel game out may sound sort of familiar.

 

He's basically the only character to appear in multiple WynnEx quests. The storyline about him is actually pretty interesting, albeit short. If he could be involved in WynnEx A or B I wouldn't mind.

Or WynnEx site E as a secret discovery could be cool.

Amadel's lore is already done so it doesn't need to be improved. The only way I see him returning is as a LI robot.

His lore is pretty much:
Worships the Eye and the Dern Beast
Becomes part of Gavelian government
Moves to Wynn and starts giving villagers all government positions
Starts digging to find the Dernic crystals so that he can join the dernic army
The player comes along and steals the yellow crystal
Amadel wants it back so he tells site B to set up a trap
The trap fails and the player gets the purple crystal
Amadel is very annoyed so he comes up with an elaborate plan
Pretends to be a traitor at site C and tricks the player
Player steals the red crystal anyway
Amadel knows he has the player's trust so he tells them to get the green crystal
At the temple, he reveals himself as the leader of Wynnex
He flees to the Dernal Olm City and reawakens the Dernic spirits in the cave
The player finds him in his cave and kills him
Wynnexcavation collapses

I don't see why it needs to be expanded upon. I would like to see more Wynnex stuff though like who made the crystals and who did the miner chief give them to

However, I would like to know how they went from the Abandoned Mines to all over Wynn and the Volcanic Isles...

 

Doesn’t the miner captain in the SE discovery say he was going to take care of the crystals?

 

Yup, that's something I'd like to know about as well, considering back when they were hidden, the ocean was supposedly too difficult to traverse, and wasn't calmed with water magic yet. Perhaps it'd mean that the mage mentioned in the Order of the Grook which flew over the ocean with air magic brought it over, but that's a pretty weak link, and doesn't seem too likely.

 

Also, they were supposed to be hidden until WynnExcavation mined them.
