Judging from the order in which we are getting new secret discoveries, Troms jungle is going to be the next area to get some. First we got Corkus (for demos) and after that we got Ragni Plains, Almuj Desert and Nesaak forest in that order (we also got SE discoveries but that was just a feature of the expanse). However, since 1.20 is looking like a Gavel update we could also be getting secret discoveries in Llevigar-Cinfras areas. Since secret discoveries are one of my favourite features I will talk about a set of ideas I have. I've decided to update the thread to add more discoveries as well as Gavel ones since it's been getting quite popular lately.

    Troms-Dernel jungle discoveries

One I would love to see is for the Great Bridge.
You see, the great bridge has one word of lore when you first reach it, and that is ''RUN''. This means that there is no explanation as to why there is a huge bridge temple between Nesaak and Troms

The crossing of the Olm (Level 50)
    +60000 experience points
When the Olm fled from their homeland and into central Wynn, they realised that it wasn't even safe there. Survivors of the attacks fled into Nesaak forest and wanted to reach the jungle across the cave, creating this bridge to do so.

To find this discovery, you need to go down the bridge by pressing one of the buttons in the middle. There is only one exit door now and there is also a puzzle. To solve the puzzle, you have to match each element to its skill, and another door opens. Inside, there are some deceased Olm builders and you get the secret discovery.

The point of this discovery is to make people want to visit the great bridge a second time and to actually provide lore

This one is a secret in Troms, similar to the one in Detlas.

    Shamanistic Ritual Cave (Level 50)
    +60000 experience points
Slykaar took sacrifices from the people of Troms to stop the corruption from advancing into the jungle. It worked well, but when Bob came around he was thrown out.

To activate this discovery, you need to do a short parkour up the statue at the entrance to troms and press a button on the back of its head. A cave opens beneath it and you must enter. Inside the cave, there is a shaman totem and multiple roots that reach down to the floor. There are multiple corpses and one of them rises. It is called ''Corrupted Sacrifice'' and you have to kill it. When killed, the totem will give off an aura spell affect and the roots will turn to diamond blocks. You would get the secret discovery and a cutscene would play of some corruption entering the jungle and getting destroyed by the nature magic you just activated. When you find yourself back in the room, the roots are back to normal.

    Dernic Gemstone (Level 65)
    +100000 experience points
The gemstone that corrupted Aryn was taken from the dark homeland of the Olm. It was placed in their ancient temples built to hide from an omispective being. Elven light magic can purify the gems and use them for medicine. Rumors have told of a much more powerful artifact hidden in these jungles, but such tales have never been proven.

(Quest required: Lost In The Jungle) To activate this secret discovery, you need to enter the jungle temple grind spot. Inside, there is a puzzle and it is recommended that you bring potions at level because of the powerful grind mobs. You need to open a door with a short puzzle, which is pretty much the same as entering the wynnex temple (step on the corners quickly). A door opens and inside you find a large purple rock in a room made of stone bricks and is slightly corrupted (with dern magic). It is made of armor stands to give the affect that the one Aryn found was chipped off of this (it would be missing an edge). When you enter the room you get the secret discovery.

    Matryoshka Idol (Level 55)
    +50000 experience points
Long ago, the early Iboju humans who were native to Wynn attempted to stop the peaceful Olm from taking their lands. They constructed this magical idol to take them on, and immediately sealed it away after deeming the Olm as peaceful and allowing them into the Dernel Jungle

To get this secret discovery, you simply need to do all the normal Matryoshka Idol stuff. That's it.
It's pretty much there to give the Idol some lore and to send more attention to it.

    Tribal cannibals (Level 65)
    +100000 experience points
In the Dernel jungle, there aren't many sources of food. There are very few wild animals so a lot of natives resort to cannibalism to eat meat.

This one pretty much just replaces that one world event with the cannibals.

    Mysterious temple (Level 65)
    +100000 experience points
Within this temple there resides a talisman with strange powers. They say those who find it become immortal.

Outside wynnexcavation site E (the temple from lost royalty) there is now a Wynnexcavation admin who says
Wynnexcavation admin: We were looking through this temple but we didn't find what we came for.
Wynnexcavation admin: All we found was this key. Now if you excuse me, we have some packing to do.
There is a secret door inside the temple that takes you into a room with multiple corpses. It is a burial chamber in the temple. Entering the room gives you the discovery.

    Precorruption (Level 60)
    +750000 experience points
Before Bak'al was corrupted, he lived here in Iboju village and studied alchemy with the natives.

To find this one, you need to parkour up to a hill in Ibjou village. You dig and find a cavern with an abandoned house. When you enter, a cutscene plays

Villager: Hey, Bak'al! How are you doing today?
    Bak'al: Good, thank you!
Villager: May I ask what you're doing with all that armor?
Bak'al: I have recieved a letter from the Detlas army telling me to investigate a strange object that has been dug up just south of the city. They say it's purple and that when the miner captain stepped in he was uh... Not good...
    Villager: Ah, I see.
Bak'al: I have enchanted this armor so that I will be protected. If I do not come back, bury my house in my place. I fear that my corpse will put up a fight.
    Villager: That's a weird request...
Bak'al: I have many unsafe things in my house that I have to keep in check. If you bury it after I disappear then the village will be safe.
Villager: Alright. I'll tell the chieftan.

General of Wynn (Level 70) (somewhat inspired by @Blastbasher 's comment.)
    +125000 experience points
General Skien was a great hero, but one day he fled to a private island and was never heard from again...

To find this secret discovery, you have to go to Skien island and find a secret cave. Within it is a key. You return to Dernel jungle and to the Altar of sanctification where there is now a door outside the altar. Place the key into the door and you are in a stronghold with many tapestries on the wall. Look at them and the custscene plays. When it finishes, you get the discovery

Skien: Alright army, listen up. You are all weakli- I mean brave warriors, and I have come to make an announcement.
Skien: We are moving our base to the sea. There we will be free from the Wynn arm- I mean the corruption and we can go on missions across the sea to stop it.
    Soldier: General, are you okay?
    Skien: SILENCE!
(Skien vaporises him with a laser)
Skien: YOU ARE TO KILL ANYBODY WHO COMES NEAR THAT ISLAND, GOOD OR BAD, EVEN IF IT TAKES YOUR OWN LIFE, UNDERSTAND?
There is a general agreement, mostly out of fear.

    Mysterious race (Level 50)
    +60000 experience points
Long, long ago, an intelligent species known as the Olm fled their homeland as it was swept by darkness. They ran to many places across Wynn including the Dernel jungle. Tales have been told about their home being beyond the Abandoned mines, but have never been proven. Very little is known about them.

The purpose of this discovery is to teach the player about the Olm for the first time. This makes the previous discoveries which may be considered spoilery and confusing more understandable in the lore.

To find it, you need to explore a large ruin in the main troms jungle. As you progress through, you will have to fight a few mobs and do a bit of parkour. At the end, you find a book. The book reads (in ancient wynnic)
''It's been months.. Home is likely destroyed by now and the others are probably dead. These are scary times..''
After you get the discovery, you turn around and see the ghost of an Olm. You are then teleported out of the temple.

    Troms Jungle's Secret (Level 70)
    +150000 Experience Points
When the portal was opened, the lead miner entered the portal and was corrupted. He and Bak'al led raids on many Wynnic towns, until two brothers sealed him away...

(Quest required: Temple of the legends) To get this one, you once again need every secret discovery. Enter the Temple Of The Legends, and enter the new room. This one would trigger a cutscene that I will now describe. (also for the majority of the discovery CoW appears as a corrupted human with a similar appearance to Bak'al)

Dwendle: The Corrupter is here in Troms, we must stop it.
Rickeo: I still feel bad for trying to kill Theo a few days ago...
Rickeo: But this is for dad! The corrupter was the one who killed him, after all!
Dwendle: Let's avenge him! The damn thing is cornered here. We can't let the townsfolk die!
(they walk up the steps into troms)
Guard: Oh, it's the Twains! Thank god. I believe in you both. Head in there and stop that demon. We have evacuated the townsfolk into Ragni through our new tunnel.
    Rickeo: Your WHAT?
Dwendle: If that dastard gets through the tunnel then he could possibly attack Ragni. Ragni has no defender. You must stop him from getting through.
    Guard: Got it.
(they enter town and look at the CoW destroying buildings)
Rickeo: Hey, you stupid idiot! Come kill us!
Corrupter of Worlds: You cannot defeat me, twains. You will watch this town burn.
    Dwendle: Tornado time!
Rickeo: Might as well make it a fire whirl!
(they use a combined spell and send a fire tornado at the corrupter)
Corrupter of Worlds: ARGH!! Damn you! Now it's time I show you a spell!
(CoW casts a beam of water and thunder at the twains and tosses them into a building, which explodes on impact)
Rickeo: Did you see that? Our combined spell of fire and air did some serious harm to it! That must be its weakness!
    Corrupter of Worlds: Peons, attack!
(The twains quickly destroy every peon)
Corrupter of Worlds: This is a battle I am not ready for. I'm headed for Ragni.
Dwendle: We can't let him get there! I'll fly us over to the barracks!
(they fly over and shower the door with their elemental magic. CoW runs right into it and is flung backwards)
Corrupter of Worlds: Well, now I'm cornered here in Troms. Guess I have no choice but to fight.
    Rickeo: I'm sick of you.
    Dwendle: So am I.
(they both cast a spell, which darts a fireball right into CoW's face)
    Corrupter of Worlds: ...
Rickeo: Looks like my fire has melted his mouth shut. Thank god, I was tired of his remarks.
    Dwendle: Let's finish this!
(CoW starts roaring and shooting lasers which miss. Dwendle and Rickeo keep using their elemental spells on him. Their final spell has them sat on top of two buildings, while CoW is trapped in a fire ring at the centre of town.
    Rickeo: IT'S TIME
    Dwendle: TO AVENGE
    Rickeo: DAD!
(They both shoot a gigantic elemental beam at CoW which burns his flesh off, reducing him to a skeleton. He collapses.)
    Dwendle: Is he dead?
Rickeo: No. His heart is still beating
Dwendle: Well now we have a chance to rip his heart out! Do it!
    Rickeo: Urgh.. AGH!
    Dwendle: Are you okay?
Rickeo: Yeah, it just slightly burned my hand. It isn't corrupted or anything.
Dwendle: Then we have no choice. We have to seal him away.
Rickeo: I saw a nice cave just outside of town. We should hope it's deep enough.
(They drag him into the cave)
Dwendle: Damn, it's not very deep, is it?
    Rickeo: Nah.
    (Rickeo burns down some vines)
    Dwendle: Yeah, that'll do.
    (They throw CoW down)
Dwendle: So how are we going to seal it?
Rickeo: The Corrupter isn't very intelligent. I'm sure he doesn't know the order of simple runes.
Dwendle: Then we'll just use these runes I have on hand.
    Rickeo: Perfect.
The twains were honoured as heroes by the Troms people. Rickeo founded a temple in hopes that its people would defeat the demon in the nearby cave once and for all, while Dwendle went to adventure around the world, attempting to find ways to stop the beast. He returned with a recipe for a powerful helmet.

I liked the idea of Rickeo and Dwendle fighting CoW because their elements match his weaknesses and plus it is stated that it was the twains who sealed him away in AHC

    Llevigar-Cinfras region secret discoveries

    Meteoric Mayhem (Level 40)
    +10,000 experience points
A trio of brothers, widely regarded as the greatest minds in Gavel, once tried researching why the province has so many cosmic-based problems. They went insane because of it. They are said to have forged a powerful set of armor that uses the meteoric power to enhance the wearer's power growth, but such a set of armor has never been found.

All secret discoveries in Gavel up until level 70s will provide a lot less EXP than the others because they would make leveling up too easy when combined with Wynn secret discoveries.

Anyway, this secret discovery talks about the Yahya brothers and the Cosmic set. To find it, you have to do some parkour in the Llevigar university to reach a top tower with a telescope. In the room there is an armor stand with no armor and a small hint for ???. When you look through the telescope, you see outer space. Suddenly, a white meteor falls down and you are thrown away from the telescope. This sequence is optional because you get the discovery simply by entering the room.

    Ancient orc temple (Level 40)
    +10,000 experience points
Gavel is a magical province filled with many creatures. One of which is the Orc, which has devolved and become dumber. When this temple was made, Orcs were more advanced and smart. Nobody knows why this temple was built.

This secret discovery is found inside the weird temple found on the western wall of Llevigar plains. To get it, you must find a key in a nearby Orc camp. You can then open the temple doors. Inside you will get the discovery and you will find many strange markings on the walls.

Greed at its finest (Level 45)
    +20,000 experience points

Many, many millions of years ago, Villagers started appearing all over Gavel and evolving. Hundreds of thousands of years later, the chieftains of the villager tribes formed a province-wide alliance and an economy. The first ever shopkeeper is a legendary figure and his signature golden ring has been missing for ages.

This secret discovery provides extra lore for the Old Keeper's ring. To get it, you have to find secret catacombs beneath Llevigar. The entrance to these are found in the prison. From there, you have to go around the labyrinth and at the end you will find a Shiekah monk-like mummy sitting on some kind of pedestal. There is a ringbox but the ring is missing. Entering the room gives you the discovery.

    Plague of Gavel (Level 50)
    +100,000 experience points
Hundreds of years ago, a horrid plague killed thousands of Gavel inhabitants. It was sealed away into a helmet, but the plague doctor who wanted the task of sealing it away was angered and hid in his basement in Olux. He was never seen again, but the superstitious have been worried about his soul.

This secret discovery gives some Olux plague doctor lore and is a challenge discovery similar to the Necklace of a thousand storms and Fate of the Olm. Here is a step by step guide.

1: Go to the graveyard in Olux and read the coordinates on one of the gravestones
2: Go to the coordinates. You will find yourself in a rat nest.
3: Go through the nest and grab the Old bottle
4: Go to Olux and find a microscope
5: Look in the microscope. You will get the dialogue:
''What is that? Is it a flea?''
6: The flea has a message on it. It tells you to put in the code ''5500'' into a nearby closet. When you enter it, you will see a cutscene.
Plague doctor: This is terrible... So many people are dying.. This flea clearly carries the disease. I'll send it back to the cave I found it in and get a cure.
7: You find yourself in The Forgery. The portals are closed and the Key Forge merchant is now an NPC with dialogue.
Key Forge Merchant: What happened? You dropped out of the sky and landed here..
Key Forge Merchant: You deactivated the corrupted dungeon portals..
Key Forge Merchant: Here's some trivia as to how they were made. Pretty mu-
As he tells you the history of this place, you visualise his words
Forgemaster: You want me to make a helmet? Why?
Priest: I have a plan to get rid of the plague once and for all.
Forgemaster: And how the hell does some random helmet relate to that plan in any way?
Priest: I can cast a spell to seal every particle of the plague into it. It will take my life, but it will save the province.
Forgemaster: I'm not sure about this one.. I don't want to be held liable for your death
Priest: Trust me, you will be safe.
Forgemaster: Alright then... It'll cost you 10 liquified emeralds.
Priest: ...oh. I have no emeralds. I have been touched by the Light and I have accepted that being greedy is wrong..
Forgemaster: You have to pay me in some way. Making a helmet that powerful isn't cheap, you know?
Priest: I have an idea. I know of multiple timelines in which there are dungeons. Dungeons with powerful resources. I could make it cheaper for you to create gear!
Forgemaster: That sounds excellent! I will give you the helmet if you do that for me.
Priest: Very well. (mutters something in ancient wynnic)
(The forgery is lifted into the sky and held there by magical chains. A crystal appears above it and several portals open up.)
Forgemaster: ..wow.. You even made this place into a landmark! I owe you 10 helmets for this one!
Priest: Don't worry about it, sir. I will die anyway..
Forgemaster: Wait! I can save you from death. I created this magical totem a long time ago. I can't create any more. It'll save you from death. You deserve it.
Priest: I accept your offer. Wish me luck!
    Reality suddenly kicks in
Key forge merchant: Pretty interesting, right?
Key forge merchant: Oh, you want to go back to Olux? Sure thing! Feel free to come visit whenever you want!
(you are TPed back to Olux)
You don't know why, but the thought of a house directly south of Olux is stuck in your head
8: Go to the plague doctor's house. As you enter, a cutscene plays.
Plague doctor: YES! I found a cure! At last my studies are done! I'm going to make so much money from this!
(The plague doctor runs to Olux)
Plague doctor: HEY EVERYBODY! I FOUND A CURE TO THE PLAGUE!
Olux Citizen: Didn't you hear the news? The plague was cured by a priest in the Bantisu Air Temple!
Plague doctor: ...what?? All my months of research for nothing?
Plague doctor: I'm headed home.. I will have my revenge on that darned priest..
(The cutscene goes to the Doctor's house)
Plague doctor: All the money could have been mine.. Instead, that selfless priest is being thrown money and he's not accepting it!
Plague doctor: I will stay in this basement until the next plague, eheheh, and until then I will create new ones!
Plague doctor: And because I hate other people so much, I will kidnap them and use them as test subjects. AHAHAHAHA
What just happened? Maybe explore the basement for clues
    (enter the basement)
This is horrific.. So many dead people.. I wonder if there's a way to enter the basement. I suppose the poison could relate to venom.. I count about 16 dead bodies..
(you get the secret discovery after that, and you unlock the boss altar)

    The clock secret (Level 70)
    +150,000 experience points
The clock tower has stood strong in the province of Gavel for hundreds of years. Nobody knows who built it and why.

This just requires you to do all the regular clock secret stuff. Similar to the Matryoshka Idol from earlier in this thread, it's just a repurpose of an already-existing secret.

I couldn't really think of any more but if I do I'll add them. Tell me if you want me to do ocean discoveries and Ahms-COTL region discoveries. I couldn't fit Gavel discoveries in the poll.

The bridge is fine, I just think that there should be more lore about it. I don't think the word "Olm" should maybe be used just yet. It is only said once before, and that was in wynnic.

    Slykaar is fine

I never even thought about the chance that the gemstone could be dernic, but I think that's too much to slap in the face of a new level 65 with straight up talking about the "dark homeland" and such.

Matryoshka is also fine, I think it should have been a secret discovery for a long time now, similiar to how Lusuco's library was a secret discovery long before the other Nesaak discoveries were added

Having the sealing of CoW as the ultimate discovery is ok, I might prefer if the ultimate discovery was something a bit larger and relevant to the area (for example the stuff about the Olm in Dernel) but it's still pretty interesting having it as a near sequel to Nesaak's ultimate discovery.

I always try to not include the direct words ''The silent expanse'' or anything in any stories or anything i create because I understand that AJB is meant to be the full introduction

Btw there used to be something called "Graveyard of 100 Years" (here is a link).
I think it would be great if it returned. Yours isn't too bad either.

Not sure how do I feel about this one. Nature energy destroying Corruption...
Also there is a difference between nature magic (so called druidism) and shamanisn (sacrifices)

oh right, but they say "dernic stone", and give no explanations to what that is. This would give more detail, but you're still correct.

The great bridge has some hole in the center that can lead you down somewhere, maybe there should be a more secret way to get down there and then have a secret discovery there (Also I have like this weird secret discovery idea for dernel jungle b4 uncivilazion but that's for another thread). Anyway, CoW having a secret discovery makes sense and also I like how the secret discoveries make the jungle of more importance. Nice ideas lol. Just now sure of the dernic discovery, as I'm pretty sure the jungle/dernel jungle is related to Dern.

All I’ll say is that Skiens and Tisaun need lore far more than any of these things. The Twains, and Fetch-Quester of Worlds don’t need a discovery, and certainly not an ultimate discovery. In addition the focus should not be the Olm too much, and Slykaar is already entirely fleshed out from his quest. I don’t want to say any more than this, but really people should do a bit more research about the places they suggest things about rather than just taking the bland basics of Wynn’s story.

    Also it’s 100 years not 109.

once again, that's right, but it tells nothing of what "dern" actually is.

I think something in a secret discovery should be about Aryn's gemstone (Though i feel like gemstone dust may explain it), and maybe the cursed slingra sheep too.

I searched the corrupted great bridge, but all I saw was the bridge wasn't completely corrupt, but the land was, and also some reason that part of nesaak, was corrupt but the rest of past nesaak wasn't. Looking from the mountains there are none of the towers where you get the Nilren's Sealed Letter Secret Discovery

Also if Great Bridge was corrupted, it's safe to assume Jungle From The portal to 489 AP was corrupted. And for Crossing of the Olm, the bridge was created and it was at some point corrupted, I think maybe there should be a journal by the Olm builders, or something to show they got corrupted (Probably got corrupted but I wouldn't know not really a theorist just like exploring stuff that's not on wynn map but isn't bannable to be on (Examples are like Past Nesaak)).

Also if Matryoshka was made pre-corruption I think there should be reason why it isn't corrupted (Maybe if he's a bot and not the type of person to get corrupted Ig that could be why).

Edit: I'm so sorry but i have to repost cuz some reason i couldnt remove my old img

    Corrupted great bridge ^^

Edit: I flew higher and some reason there was what looked the place in Lusuco for the event place, Ik it holds nothing special and is just positioned weirdly some reason above the great bridge

K i guess i forgot it while I was typing and trying to get screenshots but I feel like some changes should be made because Great bridge was corrupted at some point before 489 AP. It says Slykaar helped to prevent corruption advancing into the jungle, but the jungle was already corrupted at some point.

Edit: It could've just been the Great bridge that got corrupted from Nesaak but it wouldn't really make much sense that the great bridge got corrupted and the rest of the jungle didn't. But not sure if Crossing of the olm should have changes because great bridge got corrupted.
