    That would be way too overpowered, even if it was “only” once every 10 lvls.

    Mana regen > Higher mana cap
    Hypixel Skyblock is proof of this
    Not only would this be unnecessary, it would be incredibly overpowered

    That’s the second time today I’ve seen someone mention Hypixel’s Skyblock. I’ve never actually played it before though. What kind of game even is it?

    The mana system currently is good, don't need to break it by adding this. Also explain why and how it can benefit the game.

    I think per level or 5 levels is too much. It is a good idea but maybe shouldn't be awarded too early into the game. Around the higher levels it would be suitable but if mr does become a problem players will have builds to support that by then. So idk it's fine the way it is right now, but having a higher cap wouldn't hurt.

    I don't know myself, they try to make it an RPG during dungeons but it is also an Idle game due to minions, but it is also a farming game because of grinding resources, and it is also an economy game because economy, but it is also a sandbox because you can modify the world (your island) and it is also goddamn Monster Hunter because of slayers
    The devs don't know themselves, and it shows with the huge, unbalanced mess that the game's combat system is

    Once every levels is just overpowered, and once every five levels is still a tad too powerful. 1 extra mana per 10-20 levels would be the most balanced, since otherwise when you get to level 100 or so, you would have around 27 mana, which is somewhat balanced, unlike having 40 or even 120 mana. It'd just make spellspam builds overpowered, since you could just spam Arrow Storm or Meteor, constantly doing 200k damage max.

    I feel like this would be more balanced as an ID, since increasing max mana permanently by any amount would usually be op and a bit too "biased" towards builds that use more mana (kind of like adding attack speed bonus, but not as extreme; it's too focused on one playstyle).

    meteor gets cancelled out the very moment another meteor is cast so it's not that simple

    Yeah but mesosphere fall makes it fast and p ure makes it 3 times faster. .3 seconds for a meteor to hit.

    I dont know maybe raising the mana cap isnt the awnser but as far as Ive seen all of the classes use mana and three of them have a movement spell so I think that it wouldnt break the game. im relatively new and this was just a thought. why would it break the game if we just made it so raising intelligence raised the amount of mana bye small increments rather than combat lvl.

    The problem is that the system is used to 20 for many years and the items system is partially built around it.

    His message isn't toxic, it is true.

    This is NOT a good suggestion, you can't deny it

    even with mesosphere, meteor is still a slow spell.

    This would just be straight up OP, as so many more people have said. I think the suggestion few posts above about the mana cap increasing ID could work if it was well-balanced (cap at +5? make the items have large negative spell damage or negative intelligence downsides?)

    Also, just a word of advice, you shouldn't put things like "the game needs X" or "we MUST have X" in the suggestion, because it just kind of makes the suggestion feel like... rushed and not thought about. You don't tell any actual reasons or explanations to why this would be a necessary feature. You just say "i don't care but we need one", and that is not enough of a valid point.

    So there is something called "Intelligence" which could reduce mana usage. Maybe your int isn't 80 or something so you don't see much difference. However intelligence and minus spell cost allows you to cast 1-2 mana uppercuts (it is 8 or 10 without intelligence i forgot), and there is mana regen per 4 seconds! So for spell builds 20 mana is more than enough.
    For melee builds that has no intelligence, just go get a 25/25 black horse if you are poor, and even in boss fights those spells usually costs 4 mana only, which is still enough.
    The system was balanced, if it wasn't then I guess there would be many people requesting a mana rework

    that's still true. Combine +max mana with negative spell costs and it's just :blobsweat:
