World Poison Too Op

Poison seems to op while in pvp (Hunted mode) since it goes though Defense and somehow can apply poison if the user gets attacked while they have thorns and reflection.

 

There's plenty of existing and more fleshed out suggestions about the same thing. If you're going to make another one, at least try to write more than a single sentence that everyone already knows about.
Wynncraft PvP has never been balanced.

 

Actually, how would defense reduce poison damage? You got it, its in you until it expires.
The only thing is how reflection cam apply poison over x blocks.

Slap new ID poison resist for both % and raw, and bam! ur set

oh no 20k/3 poison, lucky for me i have 2000 poison resist raw and 50% poison resist, now ill take 8k/3 poison :D

 

If this was added, I feel like it should either be crafted-only, or they should introduce mobs inflicting poison

 

I also feel like it should be 50% of the raw Id, so like 2k+50%=3k poison resist, just like all the other % id's. Otherwise, people are gonna focus on poison % instead of raw poison, and I agree on Emogla3's suggestion for it to be crafted only, otherswise it'd need to be heavily rebalnced

 

I thought reflection worked on poison? Either way I’d just do Novalescent’s pvp suggestion of just capping it. They’ve already tested it too so they would know better than anyone else.

 

Adding an ID that counters poison wouldn't help the majority of people, because most people don't want to completely rework their build to be around around a fix to an overpowered game mechanic, rather than a functional build. Even if they did their own damage abilities would certainly be handicapped.

 

Just make poison damage reduceable by defence
