    It would create a bit of extra work for the moderators if we'd need to DM them all the time about a discord link but I like the idea because then you'd be able to link your guilds discord into the recruitment page. Overall I think this would be a nice addition to the Wynncraft forums. However, I'm not sure how much work the moderators have to deal with on a daily basis, and this would create even more to deal with...

    About giving them extra work: Yes, they would get loads of work at the beggining, but it would go down to few a week after it.

    and tbh most discord servers are well known, if something’s off with one it usually gets reported anyways

    Took over the burden somewhat, it's now both me and Prankster sending the invite links for the 50 man EO #2.
    It's not really much of an extra work, the size of the mod team considered. It has more to do with how reactive the mod team will be. If the mod team takes ages to react to the invite link requests just to verify them because they already have too much on their plate (which I think isn't the case - it takes maybe 10-15 seconds to verify a link tops, by no means time consuming) or if they're too busy to deal with stuff, that's understandable.

    But it'll still be better than the current "no links allowed in forum posts, end of discussion" rule in place, which really hurts the community.

    I don't think Moderation management/Administration would (want to) do it after creating this rule (which they created for a reason, maybe unknown, but still).

    Don't blame the mod team, this was definitely a decision by administration or mod management (probably administration)

    I really don't understand how administration thinks that constantly giving the mod team a bad rep is a good thing. Unclear changes, vague rules, discouragement of things that are solutions to issues the game has, etc.
