Can We Speed Up The Class Deletion Timer? (this Is Stupid)

Journey Beyond broke on 3 of my classes and I'm planning on restarting them so they're actually usable and not stuck in Lutho. Why isn't there an option to just delete the class right away anyways? Like come on Wynn I'm trying to enjoy the game but you're making it hard for me. Can I just ask someone to manually delete my classes or smth?

23 days to delete a class is a bit much don't you think?

Edit: Leveled up one of the classes accidentally to 102 and now the timer is at 29 days instead of 23 days

Okay if it takes this long to delete classes with low prof level what if someone died on HICH at like lvl 99 or 100 and wanted to restart? Yhere should be a max of like one week at most it would take 44 days for me to delete my highest level class with ~1300 total level. if it we're a dead HICH would be torture to wait a month or so just to redo HICH which is already absurdly time consuming due to frequent death.

 

its to stop people from deleting your account if it becomes compromised. Sometimes it make take a while to get your account back and you dont want to delete everything

It should be like 1 day at most, I assume the longer timer for higher level classes is to make sure you can cancel it if you start the deletion on accident, but I think a day is long enough to change your mind or see your error. or just make a function where you can lock a class and make it so you can't delete it unless you unlock it

2FA for Express class deletion would seem like a good medium, but how would you propose they do that? Maybe something with their main website maybe

 

just wait until it gets fixed and play on a working class until then

you can delete them if you want but you'll lose all of the items and stuff

 

Should be an hour or just a confirm button for all classes regardless of level, a month is stupid xD

 

Make it so when you create a class you have the option to add a password to it. Later on if you want to delete it you can use that password to skip the wait time

 

i like this idea, since it still guarantees the safety of the classes incase somebody's account DOES get compromised

 

What if you want to delete a class, but can't remember the password? What if someone else crates a class on your computer and spams in a random password? You can never get rid of that class.

 

You can still delete the class normally if you don’t remember the password. You just have to wait for the full timer.

also just make the password strong enough and it can’t be bruteforced.

Sorry I misread the last part you said. I thought you were saying what if someone gets into your account and spams random passwords on one of your classes in attempt to unlock it.

 

Definitely agree, I think a password system would be good. Maybe something like, having your account linked to your forums account and receiving a confirmation email for instant deletion? I think that'd be sick
