In hunted/hardcore mode when you die or /kill you have a chance to lose your id and un-id items. However the only way to get out when you are stuck is to /kill, which means that hunted/hardcore mode players will lose items whenever they get stuck.
What I suggest to be changed for /kill is add a cooldown, and if within the cooldown you don't get hit and you don't damage any mobs you will get killed and teleported to nearest city without any death penalty.
    ^(Changed based on feedback)

Currently dying will send you to the closest town, usually this is fine but then when you die in a quest or a dungeon, you might be sent to a city very far from where you started the quest (because that city is closest to your dead point). What I suggest is that you have a "respawn point" value stored in the system, whenever you enter or leave a city your respawn point will be set to that. For example if you die in lusuco's winter festival, you will get sent to olux. To prevent this when you enter the lusuco winter festival and the chat says "You are now leaving lusuco" it also sets your "respawn" value to lusuco so when you die you respawn back at lusuco.

Would attacking/killing a mob set your combat tag to true, and would your combat tag stay false when in a town or city?

I would set the timer to 10 or 20 seconds and make the players lose items as if they were normal players (e.g. still lose some items on 5- sp.)

I personally think that unless you are in combat you shouldn't lose items when you do /kill. What if you are very unlucky and just happen to teleport into a block where /class can't get you out and you only have 2 SP? (i mean thats never gonna happen why would anyone ever get down to 2 SP)
I would say that attacking/killing a agressive/neutral mob will set your combat tag to true and when you are in a town your combat tag will by default be false.
Sorry but I didn't realise the need for a poll at the time of making of this thread and currently I don't know how to add poll via editing thread. btw if you know how please reply.

Then wait, like any other normal player.
This removes the possibility of abuse (like doing /kill to tp to nearest city all day instead of travelling properly at the cost of possible death by another player)

I've changed it to "wait" 10 seconds instead of the combat tag idea.

That was not what I meant. I wanted to extend the combat tag and add penalty as if you were a normal player.

At the top right of your thread click Thread tools, then click add a poll. Then configure the question, answers, and selection type. Then click add and you’re good to go. Note that you cannot remove or edit a poll once you make it, but you can add more questions onto it.
