get helm splitter, then just stack melee % items on it. if there isnt any particularly good melee % item for an armor slot, go for poison or life steal instead. most pre-endgame items are hard to come by through trading, so i suggest looking into alternatives if you cant find a certain item

thats the effect of the tiny -hpr on summa. this is countered by cluster's/hellstrand's life steal when combat. when out of combat, i suggest holding a bow with a bit of health regen, such as comrade, or whatever else you can get your hands on and fits the build's sp reqs.

if i'm not stupid then you can swap summa for finesse to lose the -hpr, but it's prob slightly worse in combat
but it means you won't have to deal with the inconvenience

Preferences: N/A. I just want a strong shaman build I can use for warring / carrying dungeons

 

wfa cryo but if you don't mind -ms then virtuoso improves the build even after the nerf
there's prob a more meta build in xWA but that's out of my league

Playstyle: Mostly spells
Restrictions: No mythics and crafted items and no items from LI
Preferences: i want the build to be able to solo LI and mostly for that purpose

 

https://wynndata.tk/s/evg43c that's probably more optimized, cryo already has -1 aura cost so dragons eye is not a necessity, and if you need more health you can use ornate shadow instead of vacuum for slightly less damage and less Mana regen (10 would definitely suffice so the 13 you get with vacuum is not necessary).

EDIT: didn't notice you were doing WFA, this is EWF so this is not more optimized it's just different.

 

i remember hearing somewhere that the more -aura the merrier, i've never played shaman in my life so i don't really know what i'm doing

time rift fits your build better imo

with the power of -spell costs, you can choose to dump the extra skill points into defense for nice survivability. while nighthawk erases most li bosses, you may want to consider changing your helm to pisces or a similar alternative for orange cybel, to make handling crowds much easier.

new spring is looking pretty hot so if u wanna make-do with the damage until the patch, heres a pretty ok damage spring build (15k bombs with new spring, mind the concentration buffs)
or if u want, heres one with more hpr focus (aw man that damage)

or for a build thats good to use as is and post-patch, grandmother

now, im not here to stop you from doing whatever you want, but i would advise against this kind of a build, at least for right now

the plague major id is currently bugged(?) as the 70% poison spread doesnt stop at the first generation. this means that mobs will eventually have 70% of 70% (of 70%...) of your total poison applied to them. as you cant reapply poison until the previous affliction runs out, this effectively nulls your dps at any combat situations with multiple mobs for most of the time

another quaint is with poison spell mage. mage doesnt really have good poison application spells like arrow storm would be. the melee attack, however, is one of the best poison appliers as a ranged aoe.

third issue is just with full poison in general. the overall dps isnt that high. it's viable enough to pass the game, but especially on mage i recommend tierstacking with necrosis to also get a side of raw melee.

with all this in mind, i'd recommend this build instead

it's a melee mage with a side of poison. for specific item picks; i went with necrosis + struggle for the raw damage cancel as shaggy boots is getting nerfed. this also allows the usage of ceramic shell greaves, which make heal a much more castable spell, and more potent with its water % damage.
all in all, it's got pretty decent damage output with nice walk speed and heals for a poison-focused build
