Guilds Guild Mail

I have a growing guild at the moment. And I need to be able to tell all my members something without needing to wait for them to log on. In this Kennyroom6 (A guild member and friend) and I have came up with the idea of Guild mail! I want to be able to always remind my guild members to Contribute Emeralds or Don't forget to attack!

Requirements:
(I dont think there should be any!)

Usage:
As I said above this new Mail system can be used as a reminder. However there are also other ways it can be used. For instance, I need to tell the entire guild "We are running low on Emeralds. Please Contribute" I can then do that. Right now I would have to tell everyone who is online this by either /Msg or /G.

How It Works:
This part can always be changed if you have suggestions please suggest them... This works by doing a command /Guild mail, /Mail, etc. and after you type your message after /Mail this will send to all the members in the guild and next time they log on in the chat it would say Unread Mail: (Player) mailed to you; We are running low on Emeralds. Please contribute.

How it will effect everything else:
This can also be added to Friends so you can mail to your friends, or to someone that was going to help you with a quest. The /Mail; can be added to somethings and can be very useful if Wynncraft decides to add it.

Disclaimer:
I do know that most guilds have a Discord and that will benefit them. However, you also have to remember that there are younger aged players who might not be allowed discord (or any other similar app) and this will help that group to connect more to the guild and other player still through the game and not anything else.

And yeah I just thought that you should at least have a few members and be a good enough guild that you can be at that level. so Maybe level 20 is the better choice

 

why add level requirements tho?

 

Idk wanted more rewards for guilds It doesnt really matter if there is a requirement (EDIT- I already deleted the requirement of a level)

 

Sounds interesting, and if you wanted to leave a guild announcement for other players to see when they came online too

 

Yes that was actually one of the reasons Kennyroom6 Suggested! (Edit- Just wanted to make sure everyone knew that i didn't think of this on my own so I am not claiming this as my Idea I am claiming it as co-part in making the idea.)

 

Sounds great, but remove the level req. If a guild is that high of a level, they'd most likely be developed enough to have a discord.

Yes. We know. As I have already said, this is intended for those that may not be able to set up a discord.

 

How about the player requirement too? If this is for small guilds, it doesn't make sense

 

I don't think a player requirement is necessary, otherwise I like this idea. Kind of like having a message of the day that pops up in the player's chat when they join.

 

I agree the player requirement isn't the best idea, and I see now that not any requirement is something needed for this. However I do feel that there should be "Goals" for guilds to reach. Maybe certain commands (however thats for a different forum).

Solid idea, I personally don't really like guild mail/friend mail in general because I find it annoying, but it's a decent enough concept. Might work better as a MOTD though?

 

Yes a message of the day can work better. However i feel that mail can be more useful and can expand far more than a MOTD can.
