I leap off of the platform and teleport towards to kick this abomination’s head in.

Guess you didn't need the advantage from Guiding Bolt.

Well, I would try to do something fancy, but it seems we're all working to wear this thing down, so...

"Burn!" I hold up my amulet and cast Scorching Ray with a 3rd level slot, firing four white-hot beams of concentrated sunlight at the abomination.

Attack 1: Natural 20
Attack 2: 6 + 8 = 14
Attack 3: 17 + 8 = 25
Attack 4: 8 + 8 = 16

According to Spyro, that's 1 miss, 2 hits, and 1 crit, so 8d6 fire damage.

The first ray deals 4 + 3 + 6 + 5 = 18 fire damage.
The third deals 3 + 6 = 9 fire damage.
And the fourth deals 1 + 1 = 2 fire damage.

29 fire damage, pretty good. I'll maintain position and end my turn.

Gladly. The first ray shears off one of the creature's wings entirely, leaving it struggling to stay aloft. The second goes wide, but the third damages another wing, sending the abomination to the ground. It writhes and struggles, but doesn't suffer for long before the fourth and final ray of light pierces its face and burns right through it, leaving a corpse oozing... whatever strange bodily fluids this thing has.

 

The crawler shrieks, shrivels, and dies as the Ratoid Abomination's power drains away with its death.

How's the repairs on the window going?

 

Alas looks at the hole in his shoe cause by the crawler.

"Huh. The destroyed my shoe I destroyed their faces."

He then goes back to the pile of gold he was next to before teleporting.

 

I catch my breath, lowering my still-smoking amulet.

"Did the plague create that abomination...?"

I walk over, examining its remains, as well as the strange-looking area of the cave it came from (the map appears to have weird piles of stuff).
