Better Class Selection Ui

When you go into class selection I think the ability to name your characters would be great.

Or maybe last time you played this character as I don't think most people have VIP to customise their characters with.

EDIT: For those thinking I mean in quests, just to clarify I don't mean in quests as it would complicate it too much. And for genders, I'm not quite sure how that would be implemented.

I was thinking along the lines of being able to identify tour character easily or just having better stats, like last played, inventory, last location etc..., when you hover your mouse over it so people who have many characters don't have to go through every character finding stuff.

EDIT 2: And for class names, I'm not saying they are to be changed as that takes away the point of ranks. I'm saying like a tag AFTER the class name so it is easier to identify

Maybe it would be better if you could choose your gender so you are referred to as him/her throughout the game, and plus there's literally no point in having a name

 

There are people who use different pronouns than he/him and she/her, though. It could add a feeling of being unwelcome. They/them can be used to refer to anyone, so changing it to he/him or she/her seems like a step backward

 

There's not really a point because the player is assumed to have "no gender", seeing as apparently no one can see your face because of your helmet covering it up

He just meant that this would be in the class selection UI. He never said anything about changing quests so the characters referred to you with the name you chose. This is purely just so you can keep track of your characters better if you don’t have a rank.

 

Yes I agree with that he didn't say anything about quests. However Wynncraft isn't that hard to understand your classes. There are many ways of keeping track. Highest level - Lowest level; First class, Fifth Class; Archer, Mage, Warrior; Etc. There are ways already to keep track and with these there shouldn't be any problems with forgetting them. Naming your character would take away getting the cool name for VIP - HERO's. If you paid you should have these cool names; Hunter, and Dark Wizard. And whats stopping someone from creating inappropriate character names?

 

finally, i can store my thousands of materials across classes without having to /class a hundred times any time I'm looking for a stack of grains. please yes I would absolutely love this.

bro who the fuck is paying $40 for the class name to be different. and who gives a damn if someone wants to name their class "McFartnugget" it's not like anyone else can see it besides them lol

 

Actually you wouldn't buy a rank just to have a cool class name. You would buy it because of the daily crates, /rename; /sign; lobby flight and no inv; And most of all your supporting Wynncraft. So yes you wouldn't buy a rank just for the cool name you get, you buy it for everything else!
