    1. Go into detail.

Whole Wynncraft is addicting, but is it enough addicting? My account on the forums is new, but I'm playing this game since it early stages and introduced at least several dozen people to play Wynn. Many players love finding boxes and small secret places. My suggestion is based on adding small options similar to loot chests, but with much more effect and more time that player need to spend on them, for higher and world-wide effect.
We have loot-chests and one of this idea works in the same way, but it's open for everyone who will interact with it. So? I think it's easy to do without making something totally hard ;)

So, the whole idea is about grave-robbing or grave-rebuilding and shrine-rebuilding.

    upload_2020-6-5_18-2-13.png
(image stolen from some kind of gravestones mod :P )

    Why and how?

    Shrines.
Are pro-buff structures that players can rebuild for cartain tiny, but long-term buffs. Shrines should be scattered all over the world, so every part of Wynncraft should offer different kind of shrine. For example:
    - Shrine of Fighters, granting little boost for typical melee and defence stats
    - Shrine of Mages, granting little boost for typical magic and mana stats
    - Shrine of Assassins, granting little boost for typical range and lifesteal stats
    - Shrine of Shamans, granting little boost for typical AoE and self-defence stats
    - Shrine of Miners, granting better XP from mining stuff
    - Shrine of Cookers... etc for all skills
Shrines can be used ONCE in 12 hours and only one can be activaced at once, but there's small trap. Shrine may collapse. Condition of shrine should drop every hour if it's not "praised" by cartain resources. For example stack of high-level mining items will rebuild it for few % of condition. If shrine is collapsed you have to drop resources that will bring it back to 100%, then you can activate it again. Also, if shrine collapses all players that had it active, lose the buff wih on-screen message.

    Graves.
They have similiar activity but with option to be... bad!
First of all, they should work like loot-chests, so you can open rebuild or destroy gravestone only at considerable intervals. There should be two types here - graves similar to chests III and IV because they require some activities, plus some kind of buff. It should be based on grave type, details below.
You can rebuild gravestone by dropping some resources into chopper hidden under it. For example you can find gravestone of fisherman near Invaded Barracks, near Almuj. If you drop 32 Carps it will grant you with loot chest and small buff for fishing activities. BUT ALSO, you can leave this gravestone as it is, renovated! Or you can leave 30 Carps and someone else will drop 2 more. You can leave renovated gravestone, so someone else will claim loot chest. Of course you can't rebuild or claim the chests one by one:
While not renovated and not claimed: you can do it and claim the prize or leave it.
While renovated and not claimed: you can claim it and the grave will start to collapse slowly.
While renovated and claimed: you can't claim it and you have to start until it will collapse.
Simple as that, so it's a bit race who will do it and claim it. Wynncraft should contain many such graves so everyone will find something for himself.
Gravestones should collapse on every server-restart or after some time.

You can also destroy the gravestone when it's renovated... but why? Well, you have to fight your way for the prize. Clicking the button on the gravestone should trigger explosion effect, veeeeeryyyy scaaaary sound and area that you can't leave or enter from outside. You have to deal with elite mobs (like in grind-zones) and small boss. Victory in this event will grant you some crafting materials (+ rare ones) from this type of gravestone. So for example it's dedicated to scribe, you will get scribing resources, including some rares.

    2. Is it possible?

Yes. If we have loot chests that are working with countdown timer and you can't open them all over again or their loot is very poor we can use my idea in the same way. You can't open the same IV chest for long time, so in my idea you can't rebuild/usethe same shrine or grave so often. The idea would strongly develop exploration, traveling, and activities that can be performed to slightly improve profit from other activities.

    3. Does it fit?

The Wynncraft universe has both good and bad characters. We have a lore here, when we can see fight between good against evil. Good characters and bad. However, players as shareholders in this world are nearly blank. Their decisions have no impact on the world. We should change that. We already have random boxes. Let's leave them. However, let's add new activities that require a bit of action to get a bigger reward.

    4. Has it been suggested before?

Not in this form. We already have shrines in the game but this idea works in different way.

no, this one makes it sound like it could still be improved upon and fit into wynncraft, albeit it is not at that stage yet
i want an unbiased "no" vote akin to "this idea is bad and i do not think it would be a positive addition to wynncraft"

I don't know about this, I like the idea as it's actually interesting. But if it will fit is another matter entirely, I don't think it will work (shrines are similar to in Skyrim?) But not sure they'll work, I to a degree also like the confliction elements with other players in these ideas. But I don't think they're necessary atm.

P.S: It's nice to add a straight up "NO" option, but:

No, right now it's not the most interesting idea

Seems fairly definitive as negative to me, as it's not the most interesting idea. But a simple poll of:

    Yes
    No
    Unsure

May be easier for people to grasp and simpler when tallying up the results for what people mean!

"No, right now it's not the most interesting idea" suggests that the voter is OK with the concept, but it could improved upon
a straight-up no option shows that you do not agree with the concept in the slightest

It is worded in a weird way so you could take it like that yeah, it's not truly 100% negative. Why do you dislike the idea so much anyway, I find it interesting if impossible and unneeded

To be honest, this just seems like lootchests with extra steps, or a way to make a more annoying type of consumable. At it's core, it's just a gathering miniquest with a boss that gives good loot. That's essentially just a boss alter, but in a random location. I don't really think it'll add something to Wynn, as far as I see, the player isn't supposed to be able to actually settle down and fix things. They're just a recruited soldier. I also don't really see why there should be shrines of each class, they should just be renamed to "magic", "crowding" and such. Plus there's already a way to use materials to create buffs, it's crafting.

This idea just doesn't really add anything worthwhile to wynn as a whole because all of these ideas are in game, maybe if it's just a event and you get rewards based off of that, but even then it'll just be pretty meh.

Only good answer so far that is agaist this idea. Thank you. I was warned about community that is heavily concreted and does not accept any suggestions. Earlier, I watched this suggestion section and sometimes I wonder a little about its sense of existence, because virtually none of the proposals that got great support was pusched in the game.

I don't like the idea of literal power ups that you can collect. We already have skill pots (some of them need a nerf), but they only add skill points [edit: that don't affect SP requirements] with some damage/defense buffs. A straight up +2 mana regen can be a broken and unfair gamechanger. The gravestones aren't as bad but the idea feels out of place and not fitting. Just add raid bosses.

The votes are also really biased, just as others have said. The only real "not approving" option is:

"No, I'm a typical anti-changes member of the community that is against everything"

The only "No" is a "No because I'm a terrible person".

The poll is still very biased and self-centered

I disagree completely. The "General Suggestions" section of the Forums is filled with both good and bad suggestions. There are plenty that get a lot of support, take for instance the Skill Point Perks suggestion. It is currently the most heavily supported suggestion boasting over 1500 supporters. It hasn't been implemented of course, but that isn't to say it ever will be nor does it mean that suggestions aren't taken from here everyone once in awhile.
I remember a suggestion that H0Y0Y0Y0Y0Y0B0Y made for Gathering tools notifying you when you hit 0 durability that was suggested. A minute one of course, but still accepted. Another one we could look at was Item Locks, which was added into the game in 1.18 (I think). A very needed quality of life feature, but somewhat still minute. If you want a larger suggestion that was added, you could consider my own suggestion, Improved Spell Effects, which is obviously just a visual enhancement to the game, but it was one of the more interesting suggestions to be added recently. Now of course, I don't believe there have been many large-scale suggestions that have been added, but I do believe that the CT does take inspiration from some of them for their development.

I don't know who warned you that this community is "heavily concreted and does not accept any suggestions" but they are definitely wrong. It's not that we aren't accepting, it's just that your suggestion just isn't... interesting. I don't like it myself either. It kind of sounds like Loot Chests, but with extra steps. It also just sounds like busywork for the server. Having to renovate the shrines sounds like tedious work and not a lot of things that people would do, and making it reset on server restart is incredibly annoying. Now this does make more interesting world building and activity, but I don't think this would be the way to go about it and I'd rather see different ways to do that.

In terms of the poll votes, I completely agree that they're biased. There isn't a general "No, I don't like this" option. The only one you gave us for that is "No, I'm typical anti-changes member of community that is against everything," and you can't say that "No, right now it's not the most interesting idea" would work either because, like other people have pointed out, it's just a way to make the player say "This is alright, but I don't want to see this in game right now." You could have just done a normal "Yes" or "No" option and that would have worked better for you. You can have a middleground option like "Maybe" of course but just adding more poll options for the sake of explanation isn't helping.

I'm not usually rude to folks nor do I try to be, but this reply kind of pissed me off, which is why I made this rant.
There is no good "No" option, so I'll just say it here: -1.

So this would be lootchests that give crafting materials and small buffs for big fight?

As a person that approves most suggestions I say that the poll is REALLY biased. The last option is a insult to those who disagree, not fair.

Ask the person what suggestion did they made. If it was housing or new class it doesn't count. These usually lack detail and are generally disapproves.

(I am NOT speaking for the CT)
They might not say "ok, this is a great idea, we are going to add it", instead the usually do "this might be a good idea, we will get inspired like this". Even then you might have to wait one or more updates before they add it.

I know that I am basically repeating what was already said, but it is true.

    may i expand on this?
i hope that was a "yes"

I AM FED UP WITH NEWBIES COMING UP WITH STUPID, UNREALISTIC IDEAS TO "IMPROVE" GAMEPLAY

    1.
Now that that's been dealt with, before you read the whole of this rant, let me tell you that a lot of the grammar in this suggestion was TERRIBLE, and i had difficulty to understand a lot of the wording. Now on to the actual rant itself:

The profession "Shrines" seem to be just like the profession XP bombs that you can buy on the Wynncraft store, except that they're stupid, because you have to sacrifice items you might as well use to:
    1- make money
    2- level up other profs
3- use on getting someone to craft you a particular kind of item that you can't

not only this, they also have a 12 hour cooldown. If you're new to Wynncraft, you may not know this yet, but high cooldowns, or any cooldowns, are extremely irritating. And seeing as you are suggesting that these have a worldwide effect, i am guessing that you can't use a different shrine while someone else already has one active, which would be an enormous annoyance and a setback. Now you may respond with "But for the bombs you have to spend money". My response to that is: yes, you do have to spend money on the bombs, but not having to spend money would mean that profession XP bombs would become absolutely USELESS. And having XP bombs already makes your suggestion useless, especially seeing as the shrines would most likely give only something like a 10% XP bonus, otherwise doubling the shrines with a bomb could mean extreme amounts of XP

    2. Secondly, your attitude that you have displayed while commenting on criticism is extremely irritating, as it shows that you believe your own opinion to matter more than anyone else's. Either that, or you believe that only you are right, and only the people who support your idea have any worthwhile ideas. Your comment:
is not like this (surprisingly), but it is INCORRECT. Yes you read it right, it's WRONG. We don't actually have an option for that, and there's more on that later. However, the poll options are extremely annoying and show that you believe that the only right answer is "yes it is an amazing idea, it will definitely be added". That kind of behaviour is what i, and MANY others, would call simply obnoxious, irritating, and self-centred (i know Nova's gonna agree with me on this, even if he is too polite to admit it (unluckily for you, i'm not quite as polite)). If i have to be brutally honest, you have completely pissed me off.

    3. gravestones are a waste of time and effort
When opening gravestones, you have to do a particular task or go through some kind of battle, wasting your time and resulting in you wasting effort as well. Just wasting time would be bad enough, but then again people do that all the time by just hanging around places, but like this not only are you doing something unproductive, you are also wasting effort while you are completing this task that you are set by the gravestone. Another stupid thing about this is that the gravestone has a possibility to result in a BAD outcome. You could end up dead, or, perhaps instead of gaining a buff you could get a debuff, or even just get some really crappy items, around the quality of this suggestion (which, if you aren't aware, is extremely low). And if they just give loot, why not do something with lower risk, and most likely better items, perhaps by doing a certain something that begins with an "L". Tip of my tongue, honestly.... LOOTRUN, that was it, yes. JUST LOOTRUN IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR THE LOOT.

    4. As I have already stated beforehand, and will now elaborate on, "Shrines" are an absolute waste of time, effort and materials. Well done, that's more of a waste than "Gravestones" are. No-one wants to grind materials, even common ones, for a miniscule buff to xp, damage, defenses, or whatever the hell you get from the "Shrines". If you're going to grind materials, you might as well decide to use them in crafting, where you get more benefit, especially seeing as if you then decide you'll never use it again, you can then sell it to the blacksmith (if no-one buys it when it was on the trade market for like 3 weeks or until it gets annoying). Either that or you can sell the materials / ingredients to someone straight away, or even just giving them away to someone doing crafting would be more productive, because you then gain their friendship or trust, which could then result in some discounts or some free items or loans.

There isn't actually a single unbiased response for "no" or "not interested", as the first "no" option, "No, maybe small addition like gravestones with activities, but no to shrines" is saying that you agree with part of it, instantly meaning that it isn't a straight up "no", the second option, "No, right now it's not the most interesting idea", as has already been stated by others, isn't a proper "no", it's more of a "yeah, sure, maybe not now though". As for the last option, "No, I'm typical anti-changes member of community that is against everything "... just... you clearly know what's wrong with this option.... and if you don't, let me make it clear for you:

IT'S JUST AN INSULT TO THE VOTER

In a way, you're right. There are people who do comment on all of the suggestions, often making a small rant or stating the mistakes made in the posts, but usually it's to improve the quality of future threads, and they give points as to why their idea is flawed. However, you have responded to all criticism a constant air of denial, and your responses are so obnoxious, just constantly trying to protect yourself and make yourself feel better. Although, that's only looking at your responses to criticism and your general attitude. So now if we add on the poll, that instantly mkes you seem extremely self-centred and, what'd you know, even more obnoxious.

    Calling him:

Isn't going to help him, it's just going to make him MORE upset at the "heavily concreted" community as he put it, which is the worst insult he said, which wasn't even that much of an insult but was blown out of proportion by some people here.
