I have two small recommendations for changes to the text in "Mixed Feelings." The first applies to the quest book while the second applies to dialogue.
    1. Change the quest stage that says "I [learned about the Rebels]. I should [investigate further]" from first person to command form. While I don't remember the exact wording, I remember that it uses the first person. No other quest (with maybe a couple exceptions I don't know about) does this; usually, they either give commands or quote the dialogue, such as when Pirate's Trove quotes the clues.
    2. Make the dialogue that tells the player not to the follow the blood trail too early less obvious. Usually, when an area is off-limits until the player is allowed to access that area, the game is not very direct about it; with some experience in the game, a player may realize that it foreshadows the area will be involved in a future quest, but otherwise, the game does not tell player this. Currently, "Mixed Feelings" says "Right now you should focus on helping the citizens around the docks, instead of following that trail!" This makes it very obvious that the player will need to follow the trail later. The dialogue should be changed to not be so direct about it. It could be simplified to only discuss the task at hand (e.g., removing the second half of the current sentence), or it could say that the fire makes the path--or the airship itself--unstable. It's also possible to instead block the trail with barriers until the player is supposed to follow it.

Uh ok, but it really doesn’t make that much of a difference

That's why I called them "small" twice. They make a small difference, but they are nevertheless improvements.

Only if you (or anyone, I suppose) convince me that a gamemaster will look at this, think it is bad, and then decide it is good because the "yes" vote was the majority in a poll--or that a gamemaster will look at this suggestion, think it is good, and then decide against it because most people voted "no." Or that there is some other benefit of a poll that applies to this kind of suggestion. I can see the benefit of a poll on many other suggestions, but I sincerely doubt staff will change their mind about what is good writing or what is bad writing just because some of the community says it is good writing or bad writing.

The team probably looks on here every now and again, but by then your thread may be buried under others that are like "aDd bAcKpAcKs". The only way for your thread to survive is either A: keep bumping it, which may be annoying to others who come on here and dislike your suggestion, or B: have a poll and encourage people to give their opinions on here (if you look at some of the big threads, they have a bunch of people that say, "okay, this is good! +1!"). If you add a poll, the community will be able to voice their opinion easily and it's really the community that the CMD team is working for. If the community wants something, the CMD team will think about adding it. If they don't know if the community will like it, they will be a lot more cautious.

    TL;DR: make a poll.

The CT definitely wouldn't base their opinions purely on whether people support the idea in the poll or not. You by all means don't have to add one, but in a way refusing to add one based on the premise of them not liking your idea just because people don't agree in the poll makes it sound like you've already made up your mind that this suggestion will be disliked, which is highly likely not the case.
