Warning: My writing is terrible, but the thread is about the feedback and rework, not about my incompetence
Also please forgive me for my grammar

I have heard from many players that the current quest is bad and needs rework.
The problems is that now it focuses too much on crafting and doesn't show how to actually get gear. It also doesn't allow players to freely explore

EDIT: They actually changed the tutorial! Now it focuses less on professions and more on ther things!

    Here are my solutions:

Easy solution: Merge old and new quests together
Use the old quest until the part with the cave
Then switch to the new one until the end

(EDITED parts so it fits for the new one)
Less easy solution: Merge them with changes
    Keep the old quest area
Allow players to explore the Outskirts

Start like the the new one.

The old cave with villager will stay, but he will drop unidentified weapon for the class (if possible) or unidentified boots (if not)

    THERE WILL BE NO CRAFTING
Put more combat into the cave.

    Other little improvements:
    * Toggle playerghosts off by default
    * Rework Ensan's Brother so it teaches the player about crafting
EDIT: and maybe change it's level to 15+?
** Make a bold line: "You don't need crafting to play the game, it just offers more customized and powerful items. It is recommended to do it after your first playthrough"
** This replaces most of the current tutorial
    * Change of Elemental Exercise's reward to powder
** Powder is definitely more useful than ingredient
    * Tell the player about the wiki and Newcomer's Guide

    Any feedback welcome

The hard solution is better, make the old man give a weak normal weapon, then you kill a mob and it drops a stronger unidentified weapon (or accessory, so the player also gets introduced to them)

    Is depressing enough?

Not sure if it is possible to change the drops depending on class.

I put this into a loot chest, since they can't be found anywhere else.

    The tutorial changed!

Now it is a LOT better than before, but I think that it still needs some improvements. I will edit the thread so it fits for the new one
