World Crafted Tp Scroll To Get To Marked Location

Hey guys, I've been playing Wynncraft for a while now and I really enjoy it so far. I got an idea of how you could improve player's mobility. Although we have fast travel and city scrolls, which is really convenient, it kind of limits user's ability to get somewhere quickly. My idea is to introduce a crafted scroll to the game which would enable owner to mark the location user is standing right now and return to exact same coordinates whenever they want. For instance, let's say I'm at -1100, 5300 before the Rodoroc gate and I need to go to Almuj real quick and come back to -1100, 5300. I shift+right-click my crafted TP scroll to save -1100, 5300 for me, I get back to Almuj using scroll, I do what I need to do and I simply TP back to -1100, 5300. After the location is marked by user, the scroll would be untradable. Of course it couldn't be used in dungeons.

But what if someone transferred the scroll via the enderchest to lower level character that haven't been to such coordinates?
Well, the game would detect if you already discovered a territory that include desired coordinates. If not, then it would be impossible.

That'd actually make professions so much more useful if that was an ability, though it probably would either only benefit a few players or have to be really low leveled. That said, I'd love to have this ability for when I want to travel somewhere for which no scroll exists. I wouldn't lock it to the player though.

 

This definitely sounds like a good idea, but I don’t think it should be crafted.
Let me explain.
If it was crafted, then you would need some kind of special ingredient with some kind of power, right? Well that’s not how crafting works. Ingredients only give give boosts. Normal stat boosts like mana regen, hpr, skill points. Crafting is just
materials + ingredients with boosts = crafted item
And that’s not changing. There are never gonna be any “special ingredients” with powers like these. I think it’s a much better idea if it’s just an item you can buy at some high leveled merchant, and then use in the exact way you described.

 

Add extra button for this kind of scroll while crafting scrolls and everything is fine lol

 

I really like this idea, but maybe not to exact cords as that could be abusable in my opinion, but maybe craft scrolls to tp you to a certain territory ,spawn place will be the same as war teleportation spawn location, (but not in the war world obviously) so you won't spawn on a tree or anything

I would love a cheaper alternative to teleporting to sky islands and Rodoroc personally, and gives professions another use
