Remove Hunted Mode

Hunted Gamemode should be removed because:

- PvP is known to be broken and stupidly unfair to certain classes and builds

- 50% boost to grinding materials is ridiculous

- Just grind in low level areas and no high level people with hunted will probably go there

- The quest is quick tricky and high level at 103 so by the time you get there the xp boost from monsters is basically useless, dungeons are the way to go

- Did anyone really ask for this? Devs should have focused on something better imo

- Just another gamemode isn't needed unless it's FUN, worrying about people attacking you is NOT FUN

If you disagree with me please say why, I'd like a discussion lol, personally I think it can be kept for fun if people want pvp, just remove the benefits

 

I think your points would be valid if it was before it was released, but now that it's already here, I don't think there's much point removing it. It's not like anyone is forced to participate and from what I hear profession grinding gets really slow at higher levels so having a bonus doesn't seem too unreasonable.

 

Thanks for responding, whilst I do agree it's optional I think that making it have benefits makes people more inclined to use it if they can, and 50% more xp will mean you level up 50% quicker regardless of profession levels, also I've only got like lvl 30-50 professions I think so that would help me a lot lol

 

Well isn't that sort of the point? You level up faster but at the risk of getting killed and losing your stuff. If you don't wanna have to worry about that, well just pretend it doesn't exist. If you don't mind, well then you get a bonus at the risk of dying. Seems fair to me :/

 

But you don't lose anything if you make a build of untradeables.

There are many things the community never asked for but were added. I don't see this as being a problem.

 

Yeah that's true but I'd imagine randomly getting popped while grinding would still be pretty annoying (also do people actually do that? just wondering)

 

Personally, I have never even seen another user in Hunted Mode. It might help that I have playerghosts off.

 

I meant wearing untradeable armor but yea the only time I've seen anyone in hunted mode was during a profession speed and xp bomb and in cities.

 

well I wear unradeable armor in hunted and I've only encountered one person and the glitch where you can only see someones particles happened. That was a fun fight, vanish spamming to dodge meteors and I frantically swing hoping to land a hit. Please fix this devs
