New Summoner/beastmaster Class

    I just joined the forums recently after my friend told me about them, and i wanted to suggest a new class, one that focuses around summoning soldiers to fight for you, or maybe hypnotizing enemies to fight for you, maybe a necromancer or a beastmaster. If it was a necromancer the abilities could be a basic skeleton, a ranged skeleton, and maybe some kind of juggernaut that costs much more mana. I always enjoy playing as summoner type classes in games, and really hope someone sees this!

    Ah yes, the necromancer. Buddy, there's been dozens of necromancer suggestions. Not trying to shut down your idea, but if you want it to pass you're gonna need to flesh it out and give details.

    Exactly what FreezeSpell said, what elemental damages will the necromancer focus on, and consider having spells that work like all of the other classes: A Crowd Control (Arrow Storm/Ice Snake/Bash/Spin Attack/Aura) A Buff (Totem/War Scream/Escape/Heal/Smoke Bomb) A movement ability (Charge/Haul/Escape/Vanish/Teleport) and high damage spell (Aura/Uppercut/Bomb Arrow/Meteor/Multihit)

    (I do really like classes with abilities that summon allies in games though, I posted something similar with my idea for the Artificer)

    As if Bomb is the most damaging archer spell.

    I agree with what these two have said. There are dozens of suggestions for classes, and some of them are really though out. In my opinion, this thread is more of a general, vague idea than a suggestion. However, that doesn't mean that you should stop making suggestions or that this suggestion is bad, because it isn't. It just needs more detail.

    A good way to flesh out a class idea

    What makes it special?

    What can it do? What are the details of what it can it?

    What will be some starting stats?

    What will the class mainly play around? Even if the class leans you in a certain direction, will you be able to play off meta and it work?

    What spells can it cast? How much mana will they cost? How much damage and what type do these spell do? Will any of them affect other players or all just for you?

    What is some lore/where does it fit in the Wynncraft Universe?

    Why do you think it should be added? What does it have to offer?

    What are some issues you might see with it, balancing or not, and how would you go about getting around those?

    Then leave some closing remarks.

    If you've read through the spoiler and think you can answer these, you might be able to bully @Novalescent (Great person btw), to help you get the class into a bit of reality through their dark witch magic (They have a wynnclone which they can test/make new things for suggesting to wynn, like their house friend #ShamelessAD). But I would like to see a beast master/summoner class get added, allies would be a cool thing to play around. It just might have to be a bit since Shaman is still new compared to the rest of the classes.

    Gonna put a small rant about Class Suggestions in a spoiler
    I've been seeing a lot of class suggestions lately for... some reason... Before this gets out of hand and people come knocking at my door 24/7 (I kind of have this happening to a lesser extent already), I'd like to say that I am not willing to do everyone's idea of a new class, especially if they lack detail.
    A good suggestion, regardless of what it is, requires detail in order for it to be truly appreciated and understood. There have been some ideas recently that have fulfilled this, but others are just paragraphs of text that aren't fun to read for me. If you are not planning to go the extra mile with your suggestion(s) and truly lay out a good foundation of what it is and how it would play, then it will be hard for people like me to understand what you want. Now I understand people don't have the knowledge and tools that I have access to, but if I'm being completely honest you really don't need that to make a good suggestion. I mean, just look at Skill Point Perks! It's awesome and it hardly uses any black magic!

    People saying "I'd like to see a Summoner/Necromancer class" and pretty much only saying that make it hard to understand what they want to see. It seems most people talk very casually like it's a conversation on Discord, but if you'd like people to understand what you'd like to see, you have to put thought into it. It can be hard sometimes, I know from experience, but I know everyone can do it and so can you.

    Now onto the topic of this suggestion, personally a Summoner/Necromancer class to be sounds... alright for the most part. Nothing special screams at me about it really. It's just a guy who spawns mobs to do their bidding for them, and even in other games I've never been interested in that kind of playstyle, but I know some people are.
    That is to not say some ideas for them are pretty cool though. I've seen a few, and probably the recent "summoner-like" suggestion I've seen is the Artificer Class suggestion, which is probably one of the most recent class suggestions that actually sounds fun to try out. It does lack some detail and has a few holes in it, but the concept does sound nice and I can somewhat understand how it would play.
    For me personally, I'd like to see a melee class. Since the ranged/caster to melee ratio in Wynncraft is no longer 1:1, I do feel like another melee class would be cool to see.

    How tf is Smoke Bomb a buff? Vanish is the only buff spell that assassin has.

    It slows down mobs, making them easier targets, its more of a debuff, but acts like a buff for nearby teammates.

    You can't call it a buff/debuff spell because of that! If you think so, perhaps also Ice Snake, Spin Attack, Haul, Escape, Teleport and many others are "buff" spells.

    Assassin's thing is comboing it's different styles of attacks to create combos. By reading your Stats, I've seen that you haven't played Assassin a single bit! Smoke Bomb is a pure damaging spell that supports your other attacks (not other players), while slowing the enemy's movements, and has an important place in Assassin's playstyle.

    If the enemy stays inside the smoke for the full duration, Smoke Bomb becomes Assassin's most powerful attack. That is something support spells do not do. If there is a support spell in Assassin, it's Vanish.

    No just don't bother detailing it...... there are already enough "new class suggestions", you don't have to even bother. Also....this is very similar.... Did you take a lot of inspiration from this suggestion?

    The thing with summoner suggestions is that you're basically just recreating GG's cannonballs, or the troops in UC, Wynn just doesn't have the mob AI to get minions for you working correctly
