Dungeons Path To Darkness Entrance Blocked Text

If you ever try to go to the path to darkness without having completed EO… well, the door is blocked, but if someone else opens it, you get pushed back with the message: "You should not explore the area beyond the gate, a sinister energy can be felt." I understand that this is to prevent people from prematurely entering that area, but that text makes no sense: how do you define "sinister energy" such that it's strong enough to keep you back? Does it somehow disappear when the eye is killed? And how are you supposed to know that this area is only accessible after completing EO?

The actual reason (which isn't as obvious as it should be) you can't go in before beating EO is because the eye is guarding that. So why not make the eye say something like "You shall not pass!" (in wynnic) instead? It makes much more sense lore-wise and would help people not understanding what's going on (this is the only area that can only be accessed after completing a dungeon, after all).

This isn't a huge suggestion, but it's a nice QOL change that would help make the game lore more smooth in that area, and it seems quite simple to implement.

tldr: change the text in path to darkness for people who did not complete EO to something that makes more sense.

 

It's good as it is. It's easy to deduce that you have to beat EO when
- The blocked entrance is INSIDE the dungeon building
- Aledar SAYS that you have to beat The Eye to get to the Dern Portal
- The Eye even CHALLENGES you at the end of A Journey Beyond
- There is no other clear solution to opening the gate

EO is basicly a part of the Silent Expanse questline

 

Pretty sure the door won't actually open on your screen even if someone else opens it

 

If you die in EO, you spawn at the dungeon entrance, and the door automatically opens when someone exits the dungeon, alive or dead.
