"No, no, it's fine. I got things covered. And once I get to the next town, the group gets bigger and we've arranged that other troops would join our group. So I'm certain things will be okay."

"And if we do get in a fight, me and my companions can handle themselves."

 

"Maybe we join you, head for the capitol together, once we finish with this whole mystery business"

 

"My next stop is The Crossroads. As long as you don't drag me down too much, you're welcome to join me. I've just got a deadline to meet and I can't afford to be a few days late."

I turn to the others. "What do you think? Mystery solve, then off to the big city?"
