World Render Distance

Hello,
I have returned to Wynncraft recently and I have noticed that the render distance got way smaller.
Before this, the render distance was fine for me and it was playable, I enjoyed the world of Wynncraft and the map.
But after this change, I cannot see far ahead, it "takes me out" of the world of Wynncraft, making my experience less enjoyable. It made me not return to play it even though I really wanted too, but I didn't because the render distance really ruined it for me.
Now, I know it was probably done to reduce lag, but honestly I prefer having the old lag back and a higher render distance then having less lag with almost no render distance.
I would be glad if you might consider this.

To my knowledge server crashes would happen much more often if the render distance was increased as well as lag. So I dont really know if this will ever happen.

If it was possible to increase the render distance without any issues I would definitely support this.

 

after playing minecraft servers for awhile, you tend to get used to this and it becomes a non-issue. just try to not mind it and focus on what's happening in the moment rather than what's in the distance and you'll be fine. exchanging immense lag for being lower render distance is completely fine in my opinion, as render distance doesn't affect gameplay and mainly only changes the builds in the world map and not off-map areas.

 

for me the lack of render distance sometimes causes me to lose my bearings and have to alt+tab to the map more often than i would like but its not that big a deal ill learn the map eventually
