    Adaptive Defenses - Gain 50 damage resistance to the element that just hit you for 10 seconds (stackable).

    Retaliation - Taking damage adds 34% to your melee charge and recharges 3 mana. (0.5 second cooldown to prevent instant charges from multi-hit attacks)

    Waterfall - (For lament) Heal also gives 3 mana to anyone other than the caster for the first pulse only.

    Insanity (a spin off of madness) - killing an enemy activates a random ability (possibly includes melee powder attacks?)

    fus ro dah (lol memes) - Changes war scream to an instant blast of 350% damage in a wide area. Causes 15 blocks of knockback (rip combo).

    Any thoughts?

    Those ones are cool as fuck but overpowered in places - I think waterfall should give like 1 mana, 2 max, retalliation should be like 17% and 1 mana and fus ro-dah should have lower damage. Awesome ideas though. As for insanity, I'm not quite sure what is defined by "ability" so I can't really comment. Adaptive defenses looks cool, too, but would probably need some sort of balancing.

    As for my own ones, I would really like ones that simply alter damage of certain spells or abilities on certain items. I think it would make building around a certain spell more interesting. E.g. an item giving +20% third spell damage.

    I suppose he means all abilities Madness can do, which I believe are spells from all classes no matter what class you are, powder specials and this one I don't exactly know if it is true or false, normal melee hits. Now as for Insanity VS Madness, Insanity sounds a lot more controlled, and maybe if you kill many mobs at the same time you'll cast several spells, but Madness will just work self-sufficiently without any player interaction or any control of when to trigger for that matter.

    I haven't taken the time to make up any insanely broken stuff...but In general I personally would like to see like 2-5 class specific major ids (like hawk eye) and then alot of legendary and fabled armors have major ids that aren't class specific
    to list a few I'd like to see

    Tidebinder: Whirlpool, Bash now sucks in targets and only the second hit does knockback
    also put transcendence on brace of the ninth...

    Wick (and maybe thrunda or quinque?): Discharge, When using crouch uppercut deal a ton of extra damage on the second hit at the cost of a % of your hp

    Slayer (this was pre buff)/accelerator: Amp up, Attack speed increases +1 tier every x seconds of spamming, stacks up to x times

    Full morph set: Morphed aura, Gain +x skill points in every skill for every 500hp below max

    Cluster: Cluster bomb, Bomb arrow now shoots 5 smaller bombs (only one perfectly straight) each dealing 1/3rd the original bomb damage

    Event Horizon: Event Horizon, Heal now has a 50% chance to pull targets towards you and explode dealing massive damage

    Manna: One Two, Multihit now is just two hits, First hit stuns, second hit deals total multihit damage.

    Singularity: Meteor pulls mobs towards the center of it's impact. Aura on Mage lol (Singularity)

    Bloodblast: Life Steal additionally deals extra neutral damage on activation equal to thrice of it's value. (Monster)

    Lightspeed: Arrows move significantly faster. (Divzer)

    Featherweight: Gain Slow Falling while holding the weapon. (Stratiformis)

    Discharge: Chain Lightning sends 3 lightnings instead of one. (Thrundacrack)

    Infernal Aura: Deal 50% of your weapon's melee damage every second around yourself in a 5 block radius. (Inferno)

    Sunstar: Sunrise/Sunset - Casting a totem will charge it with the power of the sun, dealing 65% more damage and healing for 40% less. This bonus damage and healing decays until half the totem timer remains, of which then the totem will heal for 30% more but deal 20% less damage. (The end bonus will not decay or disappear if the timer is reset; Aura is affected by this bonus)

    Fatal: Whoops - 10% after casting a spell to imbue yourself with a lethal charge of thunder magic, which can be discharged to empower the next damaging attack by 50%. Else, after 5 seconds, overload and shock yourself for 40% max health.

    Thrundacrack: Thrundasmash - Charging and shifting at the same time will root you in place and send out a massive shockwave that knocks enemies up and slows them. (Damage: charge damage, radius: 7 blocks)

    Divzer: Voidout - Damaging enemies 20 times in a period of 10 seconds will trigger a massive explosion centered on the last enemy hit, dealing the damage equivalent of an arrow bomb to a radius of 8 blocks. (Cooldown: 15 seconds)

    Spring: Winter - Arrows that hit enemies will slow them by 40% for 3 seconds. Additional arrows that hit with the slow effect on will deal 15% more damage. (Hehe I totally didn’t rip this off somewhere)

    Lament: Despair - You are unable to use main attack, but gain a 200% boost to spell damage. (Powder specials instead charge by casting
    spells, lifesteal and mana steal apply to spells)

    Hadal/Idol: I don’t have anything for these

    Loaded Question major ID: reservoir burst; spells do 100% more damage if your mana bar is fully charged

    Crimson major ID: cruel remedy; kills proc health regen, with a cooldown of 4 seconds

    Uth Weapons major ID: band together; while within 10 blocks of other players using Uth Weapons, gain a 40% strength boost

    Dondasch major ID: windfury; airborne kills restore 3 mana each

    Spot on, though I didn't consider normal melee hits. That'd be... interesting (tho I dunno how it would work, nearest mob maybe?).

    Great points, tho the reason I made retalliations melee percent 34% is because of heavy melee builds. 17% won't influence super slow at all unless you take multiple hits, 34% makes sure it's always 1 or less melees for a powdered special ability.

    as for Insanity, Benjin's explanation is 99% accurate (I didn't consider a normal melee as a possible "ability," though that might also be cool, especially if it triggered ms, ls and exploding)

    Brace - Pressing F consumes 4 mana to grant you 3 ticks of invulnerability. Using it within 12 ticks of casting will consume double mana and not activate.

    Oh I have this idea yesterday in classbuild
    Which itself is pretty ok?
    Necrosis-poisonous touch, melee and spell will add 1/3 if your poison as a raw damage(does not cancel poison)
    Reason behind this.. well most poison is really meh and barely rewarding, also necrosis made you use 105 dexterity which poison do not scale with at all and most poison weapon require you to invest in strength. After all that your left with 0 sp to use for defense/agility making poison even worse to use(without toxo).

    Dondasch-Cross-Country-Increased walkspeed on dirt and grass.
