So i havnt played wynncraft in many years, but have been playing basically since the beginning. I started a new playthrough as the shaman and am having a ridiculously fun time playing it. I went onto my low level old wizard and honestly dont understand why you would use the heal the wizard has anymore.

This might be a bug but; as a 26lvl wizard with 575 HP my heal heals for a whopping 69 HP... for 5 mana.
The shaman however, heals only 24 HP(4% max HP), but this is every second, for 20 seconds, totaling to... 480HP.... for lower cost (4 mana). And this might just be a bug, because according to the wiki, heal is supposed to heal 20% of my hp, plus some from INT (I have a 33; +29%) but 69 hp is only 12% of 575.

The wizard heal is ridiculously underpowered compared to the shaman heal. They should either give the mage a different spell, or make the heal a big burst of healing, for a lot of mana so it feels different from the shaman, but as of right now, its kind of a useless spell considering it takes my entire mana for a 1/2 heal.

Late game mage heal is like 3 times as good as shaman heal. Shaman is meant to be a secondary healer. Early game you dont really have a build so numbers seem weird.

What makes it a late game healer i dont understand, does the % HP scale higher as you level up? Because if it always does 12% like it currently does, it will only ever be as good as 3s of the shamans heal, which is good in a burst if you needed it, but considering over the 20s you heal for 80% of your HP its just insanly better.

Heal heals the user for less than it heals allies. at your current level it heals roughly 20% ally's max HP compared to the 12% self heal. also, at level 3, it has 3 pulses of heal over 3 seconds, with the latter two healing you for 6% and allies for 5%.

the main thing that makes mage heal so good, though, is burst spammability. In the late game, the biggest killer is burst-damage, which Mage can deal with VERY well. A full cleric mage build can easily fully heal an ally nigh instantly by spamming heal and using items like Time Rift, and even those who aren't specced specifically for heal can still mend allies very quickly and easily. it also heals based off of your ally's max health, which means it scales for tankier allies. In comparison, the most supportive shaman builds can only reach like 2k heals a second, which is anywhere from 1/5 to 1/10 of the HP someone would have at that level, meaning it takes anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds to fully heal an ally, and by then they'd be dead.

The reason it's lower than the wiki is because it was nerfed. And I agree; I've found shaman's healing ability to be overpowered so far: it definitely beats mage by any means. I don't know how it does lategame (I'm level 70 so far), but I'd definitely agree at that point. However, it is still more susceptible to burst damage than mage, but being able to avoid that with clever use of aura and haul seems to outweigh the weakness.
