While there are very few major ids added in 1.19, some of the ones that are added are extremely fun! I think it’s a shame that people who run crafted challenges, etc. aren’t able to make use of major ID items, and I think it would be fun to work them into your build so I think it would be really cool if some ingredients added major IDs to allowed items. Obviously these ingredients should have very high durability or skill point costs. That’s about it, just thought it’d be neat. Vote in poll.

I think there should be a set of ingredients required to put a major ID on an item, because just binding it to a single item would be really easy to exploit. Also so you wouldn't be able to put multiple of those on one item.

Yeah I agree there should be multiple combinations to get a major ID. I also think it should have at most one Major ID to items or else the game will become Progression dominated and grind to win.

adding major ids to ingredients wouldn’t just make crafting broken, but it would make professions extremely important to get new, more viable builds, and seeing as professions are mostly optional and insanely grindy, i don’t think people would be happy about this change.

bruh literally every mmo is progression dominated and grind to win, that's kind of how they work. you progress to get stronger and you grind to get better loot.

while many MMOs have some kind of grinding, it's usually not grind to win, nor is it a wise idea to make it as such. just because other games of the genre have a certain aspect doesn't mean every game has to follow it. I don't think wynn should base their game off of grinding, and they're already doing a fine job without

wynn has always been grind to win in their philosophy so i don't see why you're acting like it was not.

pre-gavel: beat bob, get diamond armor, win.
gavel update: finish quests, grind mythics, get rich.
professions update: grind resources, craft op items, sell resources, get rich and get stacked

now this isn't a bad thing, i absolutely love wynncraft but you can't really argue that wynn hasn't based their game off of grinding. that being said, the mini-quests, dungeons, more lategame quests, etc all make this grind easier and more fun but it's still a grind. i do think wynn is in a great spot rn but the mere existence of mythics make the game grind to win because of their sheer power. but it's pve so who cares who wins lol

it's not grind to win, all the grinding is completely optional whether it's to level up faster than normal or to get way more powerful gear. the core content of the game, quests and dungeons, are the opposite of grinding (aside for grinding within dungeon mechanics but that's an entirely different story)
