I have an idea for an entirely new difficulty on Wynncraft. It’s known as Hero Mode. Hero mode players can be identified in chat with a Golden Shield by their name and or other challenge icons.

Hero Mode is unlocked after reaching level 100 on a single class, and is essentially a much harder version of Wynncraft. And yes, for those mad lads out there, hero mode can be combined with HCIH (Although it’s probably impossible). ANYWAY here’s the gist of hero mode.

Hero Mode can be activated when you create a new class after you have 1 or more classes at level 100+. It will be activated by first creating the new class, and then using the command (/toggle Heromode). The game will then warm you that hero mode is a much more difficult version of the game, and should only be played if you’re absolutely ready for it. Saying yes in the chat will confirm the activation of Hero Mode. Once your character is in hero mode you cannot back out and you are stuck with it on that class forever unless it’s deleted. Hero Mode must be activated at level 1 or else you won’t be able to use it on that class. This is to prevent late game hero activations.

    ~What’s new in Hero Mode?~

-You now take 3x damage from all enemies

-You deal 75% damage to enemies overall (melee and spell)

-Drop chances of Legendaries, Fabled, and Mythics are 50% lower (Rip Mythics)

-All merchant prices are doubled (Including dungeon and bosses, so Qira items require 2 master catalysts now).

-Soulpoints start at 5 and are capped at 10 at their highest upgrade.

-Teleport Scrolls cost 2 Soulpoints instead of one.

-Dying does not change the Soulpoints lost, it remains 2 per death. But remember, you have way less SP!

-Mobs have a larger field of view (about 175% larger) so it’s easier for them to aggre onto you.

-Special Reward for reaching level 100 ;)

That’s about it for hero mode. It’s essentially a Kaizo difficulty of Wynncraft. However there is a very useful and special reward for reaching level 100 on a Hero Character.

    EDITS
-Changed mobs dealing more damage to players taking more damage

-Increased damage that you deal from 50% to 75%

-Changed Requirement from 4 to 1 class

This sounds like a great idea! It'd add quite the challenge into the base game, without the special modes (HCIH) modifiers that change how you're meant to play. My only suggestion would be to instead halve the damage the player does, and increase the damage they take by 3x instead of it being on the mob's side. This way, if another non-hero player were to join in the fight, they wouldn't need to fight a far harder enemy than they're used to. Inversely, a hero player wouldn't be able to cheese a boss by having a non-hero friend join them and reduce it's health and damage by being the one to activate it. Halving the damage the player does would essentially be the same as doubling the mob's HP, as with increasing the damage a player takes.

While not a bad idea, it needs some work. The requirement is a bit arbitrary IMO, and hero mode should be enabled the same way as the rest of the difficulty settings. Reducing the damage the player does is increasing gridding time for no good reason. Imo an interesting change would be to rescale abilities to only give 1 per level. Still needs work but not bad

Some of these might not work because of how stuff like drops, prices and mob agro work, but otherwise this would super fun to watch certain people (not naming any names) complete in the first day on HHIC modes.

I think this is a legitimately cool idea. It's basically like Expert mode in Terraria.

Personally, the reward at the end of the journey should be a mythic or something. This would give players a HUGE incentive to play it, as it's the only surefire way to get a mythic. Then you can store it in your bank or something. It might be too OP though? Idk, but I'd still like to see some way mythics can be earned, not rolled on.

I also think it'd be a cool idea and could be a nice challenge, if it had some extra stuff to it!
also rename it to Master Mode or riot

I like this idea. Could use some tweaks, and would want it to have a big reward. Perhaps the more of the other challenges you have on, the reward could be made even larger?

Edit: One idea I think would be good is to make it so your Hero (make it master challenge pls) class isn't affected by bombs. Buying tons of bombs can actually be quite pay to win, especially for crafting so I think for people who really want a fair chance, bombs shouldn't affect classes in this mode. Sorry Wynn lmao
