I love the new update. It looks cool, the shaman is cool, it's all around an amazing addition to the game. But, when comparing it to the Gavel Expansion, it falls flat. What happened to the community? Looking at release dates, Gavel probably took 1.5 years or so to do. Corkus and the silent expanse are cool, but they are tiny. So, I propose that the G.M.'s stop focusing on revamping everything, and instead adding to it. 1.20 could be the entire dern province, which im guessing would stretch from the silent expanse to the dernel jungle and be about the width of the silent expanse. Then Fruma could be 1.21, stretching from the side of the gate (basically, the mountain range added by corkus, so the province would not touch gavel) to the edge of dern (this would make the map a rectangle). I am not sure on the lore, but Fruma's tyrant queen could be corrupted or something. Maybe her castle is on the edge of dern, and her mental health has been corrupted. Maybe that is why she is so evil. So dern would be about twice the size of the silent expanse, which I would be fine with, since the S.E. is so detailed, and fruma would be about the size of wynn minus the nessak/jungle zones. I think the community would be happy with that. Gavel will always be the biggest province. It was a way to double the content. Another way to think about it is this. Before gavel, the ocean update was released. This could be seen as the road to gavel. Corkus mentions fruma a lot, and the citizens are from fruma. It was the road to fruma. Of course, the silent expanse was originally called the road to dern, so... Anyway what do you guys think?

TLDR Add the full dern and fruma provinces next.

    imo quality over quantity.

The problem with Gavel was that it was clearly rushed; there are a multitude of useless and irrelevant quests, no gavel dungeons, nor discoveries. It was because Gavel was an audacious project, and doing all that was clearly too much. Meanwhile, while I haven't looked at the silent expanse yet, I can already predict that the silent expanse will be better than most biomes in Gavel. This is because more time was dedicated to this one area, instead of taking a little longer creating an entire province.

I believe the next update should be the gavel revamp, to make gavel better in terms of... well, everything (dullahan and orphion dungeon question mark?).

Launching right into fruma or dern without considering what we need to improve isn't the best move in my book.

idk Im in 9th grade so i dont know if i will get to play by the time the updates will be out. Plus, EVERY UPDATE IS A GAVEL/WYNN REVAMP. but seriously, gavel's fine. Almost every quest is at least interesting.

there are so many existing aspects of the game that simply fall so flat compared to the revamped content that it would be foolish to dedicate the ct to making massive new areas, when the midgame (gavel mainly) is atrocious. the CT is made up of multiple people, they can make new areas and fix old ones simultaneously, as seen with 1.19 replacing sister city and tower of amnesia, as well as revamping a lot of existing gavel terrain, but when the ct makes new areas too big for what they can handle, it ends up taking way too long and still feeling rushed, and then we might not even get improved old content anyway.

When Gavel came out, a lot of the content was very obviously buggy, unfinished and rushed. Very little about that has changed over the 4 years since, while all new content is considerably better made. In addition, most of Wynn has recieved some form of revamp or another in the years since, leaving the majority of Gavel feeling quite unfinished and not all that pleasant to play through in comparison to the rest of the game. I'd much rather have the stuff we do have be fun and interesting than just have another Gavel worth of "eh" content to play through and forget.

Gavel is desperate for an update and seriously needs one. The quests are outdated and boring (excluding Dwarves and Doguns and Ahms quests) , the lore is incomplete, and there are no dungeons or discoveries whatsoever. I'm pretty sure the Gavel update was mistake the CT does not want to repeat. However, I do believe Fruma will come out before the Gavel revamp, seeing as the Troms jungle still needs discoveries before Gavel starts getting updated.

Hopefully the next update will finish off a lot of what has been started, such as: Grootslang dungeon, Dullahan's Mansion, Realm of Light revamp and dungeon, many, many more fabled items, more Major IDs, more reliks etc.

I'm not sure how many other people share my sentiments, but I'm going to kindly ask you to piss off. There are soooooooo many aspects of the game that could use significant improvement. The builds throughout the world are looking amazing now but in terms of quest writing, lore, overall storytelling in the world, mechanics themselves and the general game loops that dictate how Wynn feels to play, well... there's still a lot to go.

I would much much MUCH rather have the next few updates be quality of life changes, refinement of mechanics, edits of quests, and perhaps even entire retcons of the lore. So I would strongly advise you don't try to vouch for the entire community when you say that we would prefer to have new content than refining existing content. I know this comment is very rude and harsh, but this is a subject on Wynn that REALLY bothers me, and to see someone so blatantly reject it in such a manner really angers me.

So your suggestion is to put quantity over quality ? Sounds kinda stupid in my opinion.
