I felt a bit inspired so I built this house and the terrain around it over the last two days. I'm pretty happy with this build so I thought I'd post it here.

    Notes:
-The terrain's a bit lazy, especially for the island itself, but I'm not great with world edit so I'll settle.
-Green was the intended color for the upper floor of the house but I was testing and forgot to edit it, so it is cyan.
-Currently it is interior-less but that'll be changed eventually.
-Edit: Oh I also stole the airship from a previous posting of mine.

Nice job man, the house does feel a little blocky but its still looks great! and the terrain fits well imo.

please add a "Yea cool" or something choice in the vote cuz i'd love to vote that.

Nice! You are the 4th builder I've seen on here to acturlly not over detail, although I see that the details that you do have on your build is quite repetative.

I would also suggest that you improve your terraforming skills. You seem adept in world edit, so I suggest building some rocks of your own, or downloading a rock pack from planet minecraft and pasting it using a paste brush, to create a feel that your island is kind of cobbled togather instead of one coherent chunk of rock, which in my opinion is more realstic.

The bouse generally lacks shape, I hope you can see that between the beams of the house. Each "chunk" of the house is quite simular, and that is the main root problem. What you've done here is basically dug yourself into a hole and only allowed yourself to only make one type of detail, thus becoming really repetative.

If you would like to learn more about structures, I have a specific thread on how to build them well. I think you will find that really helpful. (And hopefully its not too cringy)

Nice build, I like the terrain.
The house is cool but I feel like there's something wrong with it. maybe the shape? the roof?

But still a pretty nice build

Looks nice, though I feel it's a bit blend, what about you add some more rivers or water details?

I think the issue might have something to do with the blend in styles roofwise or maybe the thinness of the sides. I think there is a lot to improve with it, but thanks anyways :)
