World New Pvp Mode Intertwine With The Territory War.

    With this new Hero beta i got an idea. I would like to see the new World PVP mode used within the territory wars.

    1. What i mean by "used" Is that u need to be in the pvp mode to do territory wars.
    This will open up a whole new aspect into warring since you can (as defender of your territory) defend or gank your opponents war team and so to defend your territory.

    Or just wreck some mayhem into your enemy's territory.

    2. Also i would like to see an invade option so that you could jump into a territory war as the defender and pvp to defend your territory.


    Point 2 is totally different. and i dont think that one will be that good or fun. but still a nice idea!

    I do see that this will cause for some problems with the balancing of builds/items since someone with a strati build or the new upcomming pure that will be totally OP and those players would have an advantage.

    But this will also mean that people could do offline raids. and wait for the best time to attack.



    I personally think this would be an amazing asset to the server and i would like to see this happening :D

    wynncraft is certainly not a game designed around pvp and I don't think making warring designed with pvp in it would be great either. the reason hunted mode might work well is because it adds a new sense of danger and risk, not so much being a non consensual duel

    you are correct.

    But i feel as the wars are missing some player vs player interaction. and feel bland, and boring. some sense of danger and risk as you said yourself might spark things up and make it more fun to do!

    the danger and risk I meant is the fact that a player with better gear/a better pvp class could kill you at any moment, so you always have to be on the run. pvp in wars would just devolve them to "who has the better pvp class, better pvp gear, and most players"

    isnt that it in the open world aswell? but the only difference is that the said players arent focussing in defending or attacking territory's and just roaming the lands exploring.
    The only big difference is that said players that roam can always turn it off. and the warrers cant with my suggestion.

    the thing with it in the open world is that there's always the opportunity to flee. you aren't locked in to fighting people just because of a game mechanic not even designed around fighting people (wars)

    for my suggestion (point 1) is i mean u need to be in pvp mode to be able to activate a territory war. and thus be in pvp mode in the open world. Point 2 is that you can invade. but this thread is focussing on point 1 as in war parties need to run in pvp mode to get territories and thus can flee whenever they feel like it. tho when the war starts they are safe and just fight off the mobs. and maybe when they get teleported back they get a grace period of 1 minute or something. so that they dont get ganked emidiatly. this will mean that pvp parties will roam and make the open world a bit more dangerous and fun for warrers

    This would make it that anyone that hasn't done hunter's gathering not be able to participate. Many people are not high leveled enough to do that quest so they wouldn't be able to use pvp mode, therefore not being able to war or participate in guild.

    At that point everyone warring would just use divzer builds and it wouldnt rlly work with ppl most likely just toggling it on when theyre actually in a territory. wynncraft isnt designed for pvp and it will make the difficulty curve for newer guilds significantly harder as most newer guilds cant even take out lvl100 snipers imagine them taking on several people with high end mythic builds. Most of the time for a guild to war its members barely need a build as 1k fillers has been just as efficient but cheaper than other defences, Having it so only people with ridiculously powerful and difficult to obtain builds is basically making it impossible for newer guilds to get a start where its already hard as it is.
