    Hello everyone, I'm going to post this suggestion.

    Like most MMORPG, Raid Bosses are bosses that you are not supposed to solo. You'll need to gather friends or allies to defeat them. I believe this system will help teamwork and friendship for nearly everyone.

    Yeah, Raid Bosses have very much health and strong damage. And also with time limit(Which's mean if you can't beat them before the timer reached to 0. You're failed.) When I was chatting with my friends, we thought people dealt last hit should have special bonus. Damage Rank only affects Emeralds they got. I got this suggestion already in a while, but I think Legendary would be too common while Mythic too rare. upcoming Fabled Item should be best solution as Raid Bosses drop. And as I said earlier, The player who dealt last hit should be rewards special bonus. But they must contributed certain amounts of damage. You don't want to see Luigi win by doing absolutely nothing, right?

    I think this is possible. Why? I believe Wynn has high technology to do this awesome project. And it fit Wynn too. Most of MMORPG likes to see players working together and making up some friendship, don't they? Wynn has some cool lore that can be used to do some Raid Bosses. Such as the Nether, We can travel through the Nether and battle against something like Lord of the Corrupt? or we can travel to Molten Height to fight with the demon that appeared in Doguns and Dwarven which I forgot its name.

    Even though I said it's too common for Legendary to be dropped, I still think we should let Raid Bosses has chances to drop Legendary or Fabled even Mythic! Higher rarity means lower percentage. Damage Rank only affect Emerald amounts but not drop rate. It may also help those strong but poor players to earn some extra Emeralds by joining the Raid. and if you were lucky enough, You might even be able to get Mythic.

    Thanks for reading my suggestion, I hope Raid Bosses is a good idea to improve interaction for players

    I like the idea of this, it really intrigues me and I feel this would be a much better way to have fun/farm xp than cib. These raid bosses could be put on a massive scale and have gimmicks according to their element. An example could be an earth raid boss, it spits poison which slowly withers away battleground and if you step on it, it can hurt you by maybe thousands per tick.

    I really want raids to be in game, but I wonder how they'll be balanced. Wynncraft has this thing that most mmorpgs don't have called fast paced combat. That means that players deal a lot of damage, but receive a lot of damage in return; most endgame bosses thus have the ability to two-hit regular players (examples are death metal & wybel/cybel). I'm guessing that a raid boss has to do more damage than these bosses to be a force to be reckoned with, but then the problem is that the fight becomes unfair. A player could lag and receive a hit from a random spell and instantly die. With current respawn mechanics, that would be incredibly demotivating.

    I think in order to make good raid boss fights we need a couple of things:
    - Some kind of resurrection system to allow glass cannons to be more viable in such fights;
    - Drops for everyone in a party that fights a boss to allow healer and tank roles to be rewarding;
    - Aggro system to give tanks a purpose (guardian major ID is a good subsitute for now but it only works for one very rare weapon so that sucks);
    - Bosses need a wide array of spells (it would also be nice to see what spell a boss will cast to prepare for it and give the fight another skill based aspect);
    - Bosses need special mechanics to make the fight interesting and to not allow players to just hug the boss and do insane damage (like UnrealSweat's idea: spitting poison that slowly destroys the floor below you);
    - Bosses need immunities to stuns or at least have very short stuns to avoid being pushed into a corner and gangbanged;
    - All classes need something that buffs their teammates so that teamwork will be rewarded.

    The video that Novalescent made about that corruptor of worlds fight is a very good example of a raid boss fight.

    I feel like this would be a neat idea for the future. I like the idea of high emerald drops based off damage but balanced item drops. I just feel like there should be a limit like 3 raids per person per day or something.

    if raids are done like most other mmos then that won't really be necessary. generally in mmos raids take more than an hour. so while the loot drops would likely be really good it overall should work out to around the same or slightly better. It will also mean that you will likely have to miss out on a lot of loot(such as non-legendary+ and ingredients) due to limited item space. that wouldn't be an issue with normal farming.

    I really like this idea overall. I really like how this will work with shaman and new mechanics coming up. One thing that I think should definitely come with this is difficulty. One thing that Wynn is great in is making content viable for all players, but I feel like this should be something EXTREMELY hard to do, and completely impossible to solo based of off pure difficulty. I think this is doable by the boss nerfing players during the fight or disabling health potions (everybody knows they are broken af). I really hope to see bosses in the future that take 10-60 minutes of playtime just to kill, and this could also help revive and rework the economy / guilds as it adds much more importance of teamwork to both of those.

    Okay, it's time to write my 1st Raid Boss suggestion. I don't want to make another thread so I decided to use reply instead.

    It's such depressing to see Realm of Light or AKA RoL being useless after that quest. According to NPC's dialogue, Orphion was some kind of guardian or something for the Light, but it got slowly corrupting recently. If we wish to face him, bring some friends with you. We can either wait for the timer or sacrificing something to break the seal and then fight him. He can spawned in specific spot regularly, or just throw something to spawn him. The level minimum requirement is 90, and requires you finished Realm of Light quest.

    An Almighty One of RoL deserves to be Raid Boss in my opinion. He has 3 phases, each phases has some same attack and something he only use in his 2 or 3 phases. Such as Beam of Corrupted Light, this attack only happen in his 3rd phase. How far can this reach to is depend on how much health he left, the lower he is, the further the beam travels. Once hit by this attack, your health will be dropped to 1 and disable your health potion like 15 seconds. But heal spell won't be affected by that debuff. Seeds of Corruption will also be appeared around him, some of them buff Orphion while some healing him. People who destroyed it can receive some tokens to exchange some prizes.

    Major ID is also a good thing for item only obtainable in the Raid. Such as Sunlight Symphony, this is an armor that has a Major ID called Sunshine, which will slightly buff the wearer when it's day time. Midnight Rhapsody is another drop from the Orphion, same as last one but night time. Drop rate won't be affected by last hit or damage the player contributed, but you'll get more tokens to exchange prizes. Unlike the Dungeon, those tokens are tradable. Of course! Prizes won't be as good as the drop, but it's still valuable. People can either sell it for extra in game currency or keep them for their unique but mighty builds.

    Looks good, and would be more fun since all guilds do is just attacking and defending. Having guild raid could be fun ^^.

    I would like raid bosses, but giving the person who dealt the most damage or who dealt the last blow would really suck for people with more support builds and most mages, I think giving just one person a better item in general would hurt friendships more than help; maybe you could have it just be luck and everyone has a chance to get an item equally (meaning that one person getting an item has no effect on other people the same item, everyone could get a fabled item or maybe no one gets one, just luck).

    New dungeon boss is almost like a raid, they have an insane amount of health and it is insanely difficult. One step off and you dead.

    Cool idea but how is this really all that different from dungeons? Beyond the special drop for last hit (which is a bad idea if you want to promote teamwork) there isn't really anything here that couldn't be done in a dungeon. Most of the dungeon bosses have different combat mechanics so I see no reason as to why there couldn't be a boss with any of the features that would make your idea of a raid unique.
    I actually agree with the first point there. It really is a shame that areas like the realm of light and molten heights aren't used for more stuff (especially realm of light, though the helmet needs to be removed if they want to develop that area).
