Bob's Tomb is an old quest- it doesn't have the hand-holdy aspect of more modern quests, and it can be quite puzzling as how one should progress/acquire necessary items for the quest. Especially confusing to players, i've seen, is the "Rose" item. It's not even hinted as to where one could find this item, matterless the whereabouts for the caves where the Lonely Spider or the Lonely Rose are.

I do quite enjoy the experience of stumbling upon these items, (I remember a while back Pre-Gavel I would just sit and accompany the Lonely Spider for hours on end), and the mystery does add to that feeling, but as it stands, there's no way a player would have any idea as to how to get the Rose, unless they asked another player or happened upon the 7-block wide opening of either of the caves (Pretty small among the giant province of Wynn/Gavel).

So, my suggestion is to just add some NPC in Detlas that speaks about finding a lonely spider and/or a lonely rose, and will give a vague directional "it was over north-eastish of here".
For example, maybe a little kid saying,
"My mother told me not to run around outside of Detlas, but I snuck out once, and found this big spider in a small cave
It was pretty nice though; it didn't attack me or anything! iIt was holding a rose in its mouth, but it looked a bit sad
wonder why it's there all alone?"

    And something for the rose.

I feel like with how old and outdated it is, the bob questline is due for a major revamp. hopefully bobs tomb could be changed enough to where finding a lonely rose in the middle of nowhere doesn't matter anymore and the quest is driven by something else other than fetching obscure items around the map

In my opinion I'm completely fine with the Bob's Tomb quest. It's one of the few quests that have yet to be revamped since its inception in pre-gavel. For most who played it then it still serves as a very classic quest, both in difficulty and story.
I'd only recommend for the quest to be given better directions on items, but that's about it.

I agree completely, I quite like the old-style of the quest, and it's a classic that shouldn't be changed too much- just having some clarifications on where items can be found would really help players completely lost by its archaic style of storytelling.

I consider Bob related quests to be the peak of the classic wynncraft questing experience and i find it nostalgic to be able to relieve the quest with no changes. Although the information you are given could is scarce, the internet is full of guides that everyone can follow.

I wouldn't be against someone talking about the rose in detlas. It wouldn't do much to detract from what you want and it will help new people who perhaps don't want to look at the internet too much

Not the place to ask for that- check in the Planning Parlour forum section.
