World Hic Help

Recently our dude @Linnyflower has found a mythic, on HIC. Because of this, he cannot use it (plus it's decent rolls) so I decided to make a suggestion

Suggestion starts here​

Allow HIC to be toggled. It would only be a one-way thing. It could work like 'oh! I found a mythic but it's not my class. Provided I have a master voucher, I can use it towards removing said restrictions of HIC, but then you will not have that class as a HIC one anymore. The reason I chose master voucher is because you couldn't use it anyway.

 

Problem is regulating quest items being accidentally dumped in bank and such. Easier to just allow players the option to disable gamemodes at a certain point or something.

personally i don’t really want a one way bank for ironman, it’s part of the fun of playing Ironman

however not being able to use f*cking mythical items as a craftsman is big scam

*finds one of a kind spear in chest that’s really fancy and good and stuff*

“w-well i’m gonna use crafted items... because... yes”

that’s about what i have to say so yeah

 

being able to use a mythic as craftsman would ruin the challenge. I'm not against being able to deposit exclusively mythics one way or anything; but finding a mythic during IC is such a rare occurrence, that I assume the gms will want to preserve the integrity of the challenges, over 1 or 2 people who find a mythic

why would it ruin the challenge?

 

Another option would be to have the chance to disable HIC after you die, as the challenge is pretty much ruined. When you die, you wont drop the mythic as long as its identified. (Myth confirmed by @YoshisWorld in one of his mythbusting videos, I think.) in said video he dropped into the void with 1 soul point holding an az and it didnt drop.

Idk if the item dropping works the same way in hic tho, and i dont know if this would break/ruin the challenge somehow.

I mean, its the CRAFTSMAN challenge, in which you are only supposed to use crafted items. Since mythics are so powerful, yes, it kinda would ruin the challenge.

 

no you don't lose mythics in HIC
the game mode is literally the same except for the challenges- you can't wear some quest helmets lol

 

You cannot drop mythics even in Hardcore I tested it also
