Discord Suggestion: Add Suggestion Channel

People seem to always misuse the Feedback and Constructive Criticism channel and Toy always yells at us. This would help people see that their suggestion has backing in the community and would help to encourage them to actually make a forum post about it.

 

Possibly but the problem with discord is that it is less organized and more difficult to provide a much more concise suggestion then it is in forums.

 

The idea of the discord channel would be to throw out ideas to fellow community members to see how much of a following it would have before deciding to make a forum post. The end goal would still be for it to end up on the forums, but the channel would provide a place to put a more beta/unrefined version of a suggestion so that it could possibly be more refined before it hit the forums.

 

Your discord comments will just just drown in the spam

 

Or make a suggestion channel with cooldown (about 10mins) just for suggestion. Then make a discussion channel without cooldown. Also, if any can explain what the current channel is about, do so please. Add a poll

 

Any suggestion that goes on there would almost instantly get lost. People would also discuss your suggestion and that'd flood said channel (and even with a rule, that will happen), and then we'd have to create another "suggestion-discussion" channel.
The forums work perfectly for that as we can go through all suggestions easily, and discussions around it aren't confusing
