World New Quest: The Matter Of Time

I have recently made a thread about Time Valley lore (https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/time-valley-lore.254466/) and thought that it need a little expansion.

Please forgive me errors and poor wording. English isn't my native language.
If you see any error or ways to improve it please tell me.
I just hope i have posted it in the right place.


Name: The Matter of Time
Minimum level: 37

Low level:
Chakram:

1. Hello traveler. I would need you to do something, but you don't look skilled enough. Come back at lv. 37.

Stage 1

• Find out what Chakram wants in the Temple of Time [xyz] (somewhere in the back of the Temple).

Chakram:

1. Welcome traveler! What does bring you in here?
   
2. When you are here, you could help me with one thing.
   
3. I have have been studying the race which has built this place for a long time.
   
4. One of the few things i know is that they were really good at time magic.
   
5. The have fillled with it nearly everything they have found. Not just shovels.
   
6. But they have suddenly disappeared and left here this.
   
7. I need you to travel to the past and discover as much as possible.
8. At first you will have to get something they had. Go out and find something.

• Repeat: Search the old buildings out there, it shouldn't be too hard.

Stage 2

• Find a thing that belonged to the ancient race and bring it to Chackram.

Chackram:

1. Great! It isn't much, but it will be enough.
   
2. Go to the altar and throw it in the middle. This should activate the device.
   
3. And if you find some interesting thing bring it to me please.
   
4. Good luck.

• Repeat: I have written the information into you quest book.

Stage 3

• Throw the bowl into the altar and travel to the past

• 1000bP
  
• Player appears before the Temple. Before him is newly created Temple of time, there are several wooden buildings for workers around. The Great bridge is unfinished.

Tarp:

1. Hello stranger.
   
2. You are from the future, right?
   
3. Don't be suprised, maybe we are from past, but we are not stupid.
   
4. You have to most advanced armor i have ever seen. Plus we have just finished time machine.
   
5. It will be the greatest thing that Olms have ever done!
   
6. If you want to know more, go to Dorm, he has planned the whole machine.
   
7. He should be at the entrance of the Temple.

• Fallback: I am so excited! I hope everything will work.

Stage 4

• Find Dorm [xyz] and talk with him.

Dorm:

1. Hello.
   
2. Do you want to see our creation?
   
3. We can travel to the past through memories of long dead creatures with it.
   
4. But you know that, because you are here.
   
5. I would like to tell you how does it work, but we do not have time for this.
   
6. We are just preparing the first Olm to travel. You can watch it, if you want.
   
7. But put on protecting coat. Just to be sure.
   
8. It is in the cabin on the left.
   
9. Come to us when you will be ready.

• Repeat: I will be in the Temple. Get a coat before you get it.

Stage 5

• Put on protection coat [xyz] and enter the Temple
  
• If player wants to enter without coat

1. Dorm: Put on the coat! It can be dangerous!

Dialogue:

1. Dorm: We can't start, its too dangerous!
   
2. Ekap: We can do it. Everybody is waiting!
   
3. Dorm: Without stabilization crystal? Never. How did you even lost it?
   
4. Ekap: We- Sorry (playername), something went wrong. Can you help us?
   
5. Dorm: We have lost one thing. Spare part is hidden in the library. Find it and bring it to us.

• Repeat: Ekap: Find the crystal. We can't proceed without it.

Stage 6

• Go to the library [xyz] and find spare stabilizator.

Librarian:

1. You are looking for time stabilizator?
   
2. I wasn't here when they hid it here.
   
3. But they gave me a hint for anybody who would need it.
   
4. "Guardian protects, guardian watches"

Stage 7

• Find stabilization crystal. "Guardian protects, guardian watches"

Solution:

• First button in under librarian's desk, second one is on the first floor opposite to the desk
  
• The entrance will be behind the desk
  
• The crystal will be yellow stained glass on the floor of a little room

• When player return from hidden room:

Librarian:

1. You did it!

• You feel vibrations in you hands, you should deliver it as soon as possible.

Stage 8

• Deliver crystal to Dorm in the Temple.

Dorm:

1. Great.
   
2. Ekap was afraid you won't find it.
   
3. Now you can watch the first attempt of time travel in history!
   
4. For this test we have chosen bones of ancient creatures.
   
5. But it loses the charm, because we know it will work. One day.

Stage 9

• Watch the experiment.

Cutscene:

• Player is teleported above Dorm.
  
• The Temple is with scaffolding.
  
• Olm wearing black robe walks to the altar and throe in a bone.
  
• Olm: Activated!
  
• Beacon is activated under the hopper.
  
• Flash and Olm disappears.
  
• After a while smoke appears
  
• Olm appears
  
• Olm:
  
• Ohh...
  
• It was there…
  
• The eye…
  
• He corrupted me…
  
• Please help!
  
• Dorm teleports the Olm.
  
• Player gets teleported back.

Dorm:

1. Wait for me outside.

• Repeat: Wait for me outside.

Stage 10

• Go outside the Temple and find out what Dorm wants.

Dorm:

1. I must admit it wasn't be best possible outcome…
   
2. Poor Olm, he was volunteer.
   
3. I know that the machine is dangerous, but no one from the would allow shutting it down.
   
4. I hope that the corruption won't spread.
   
5. In the worst case scenario we can seal it away in the past.
   
6. I guess you know everything you wanted.
   
7. Just go inside and you will be teleported back to your time.
   
8. But i would like to give you a gift.
   
9. I hope you will learn from it something.

• [+book about Time Valley]
  
• Fallback: Good luck on your adventures.

Stage 11

• Return to the present and give Chakram [1 Book about Time Valley]
  
• The player will go inside and get teleported to the present.

Chakram:

1. Welcome back.
   
2. You weren't there too long.
   
3. This book is for me?
   
4. Thank you very much.
   
5. Here is your reward, use it well.

• Greet: Thanks for the book. It's very interesting

End

Sounds cracking, only issues is that you seem to get a bit mixed up over what level to start the quest at, is it 48 or 37? Also the quest needs a better conclusion imo, maybe a boss battle or puzzle, it just seems like a bit of a fetch quest atm which is OKAY imo, but others may not like it. I think they're good to break up the action with a bit of story personally. The quest reward seems balance, and maybe a tiny bit underpowered, which is a refreshing change from all the OP items some suggest XD.

Some grammar mistakes but completely understandable and I only didn't understand what you meant in a few parts.

Overall very cool, and a great idea if I do say so myself, the time element hasn't been done in this way before, so lots of praise there. It was fairly well written too, I also quite like the character names, very inventive, well done!

I thought i will add how the corruption spreads, but it was too long without it. Maybe in the future...

Just a little feedback, maybe have it so when the corrupet Olm comes back, maybe you have a boss fight with it to stop the corrupted spreading, that would make for a way cooler end to the quest.

other than that, it's awesome!

 

I don't think the content team is likely to just use an entire quest detail to detail, you should think of ideas and mechanics for one instead of just making your own entirely
