Bank Sorter

- Having a messed up bank is annoying
- Searching through the bank to fin the right place for an item is annoying and takes time
- Sorting your bank manually takes a lot of time

----> Having a button that sorts your bank would be great!

It would go through all bank pages and make a list of all the items that are in your bank, stack those that can be stacked, categorize them in regard to their type (eg. money, powders, armour, weapon, quest, dungeon, scrolls, ingredients, other), subtype (eg. le, eb, e, air, water, thunder..., helmets, chestplates..., wands..., ...) and sort them in a hierachy that makes sense like level or tier and then relocate the items in the bank pages in regard to how many pages you have and the amount of items in your bank.

While this would be awesome, it would take forever to implement to get something relatively small in the game. When you hit that, a TON of items would move around, probably causing immense lag.

 

What are your qualifications that you base this on?

Also (for me) this would not be small as the bank (for me) is the root of most of the getting annoyed.
Also I'm happy to help, although my coding experience is limited.

 

My guess is that it would basically cut and paste the stuff into the bank, and just like on your computer if you have ever moved a whole bunch of files to other places, you know the pain of it. Imagine what that would do to someone with 12+ bank pages. On a 35 player area like Detlas. It would be an awesome feature, but probably just not feasible.
Also, for it to sort them correctly, every item would need a new identification, like air-fire, or earth-thunder-water. That would mean they would have to reroll everything in all of Wynn, and I don't think this could be done by hand, as there are just too many things out there. That would destroy all the time gathering emeralds to reroll mythics, as they would have random ID's again. Either that or the bank would need to know every item and what it is, causing the bank to have to process more things, hurting the server even more.

 

The only way to truly settle this is to get the opinion of a developer.

 

I do not wish to start a fight, you are entitled to your opinion as much as I am, but if you wish to get another opinion, be my guest :).

 

I think you that neither you nor I am able to have a valuable opinion on wether or not this is feasible because we don't have the slightest idea of the inner workings if Wynncraft or the amount of data that is being transferred during normal gameplay.

It is really annoying to stay in the end of the line and this idea could make playing a lot more enjoyable.
