Quest Break Up The Challenges In Royal Trials

It took me 17 tries to complete the combat section of the Royal Trials quest. 17. At level 101. 17 times. Spread over a few days. (This struggle being mostly because of needing to drop tokens into a hopper getting me killed nearly every single time. And of course I respawned in Iboju each time, so this cost me a great deal of emeralds and soul points in terms of teleport scrolls.)

So I finish the combat section at long last. Then I get tp'd to the Airship challenge. Only nothing loads and so I fall into the void and die.

So I'm back in Iboju, use another tp scroll to Ahmsord, run back to Skyraider Base... and find I have to do the bloody gosh darn combat challenge again. I swore loudly and profusely and probably startled the neighbours.

So please, for the love of all things merciful, break up the Royal Trials challenges so that when one has completed a challenge, that part of the quest is over.

I feel if I have to go through this one more time I will crack.

 

If you're having that much trouble with the combat challenge you need some better gear/potions...

Dropping items in can be very annoying though yeah, a better suggestion might be for there to be added click to dispense things like in dungeons.

 

I think the hoppers in the combat part of the Royal Trials quest should work like the hoppers in dungeons

 

It's just the part where I need to stand still to drop the tokens that's been the problem. Of course I can't use my gear or potions at that moment.

Actually killing things and not getting killed before that moment isn't the problem

 

That has killed me many times also, although in that case as I said earlier a better suggestion would be to add the things you can click to dispense.

If you still haven't beat it for me using a stunning spell(escape/ice snake) or invis as assassin tends to help me (and if you're a warrior rip).

 

Hi thank you for your feedback, i can feel your pain, we will be looking into it! (Can't promise anything at this point, but i do want to remove the hoppers to use the token collectors from the dungeons)

Bump. Token issues aside, I still think the different challenges of the trials should be broken up into different sections of the quest.
