Wynncraft Store

Why dosen't the WynnCraft Store take credit cards? I hate using PayPal and I never will again. If you would like me to buy things from the store make it to where I can use my card.

 

Cause many people don't want to risk their credit cards for a game purchase inside another game.

 

Many people != everyone. Besides, why should the store get to decide what risks the users are allowed to take with their information? Unless there is a major leak of BuyCraft (of which I can recall exactly zero) I can't think of any other risks involved that do not already plague other sites that take cards directly. Furthermore, why does the idea of the purchase being involved in a game inside of a game matter? The only way this argument makes sense is if it's assumed that most/all mc server owners are unable to secure the financial information of their users. If the information can be kept secure, and there are no major bugs or glitches involved, why should it matter?

Not arguing in favor of the change (ex. it might be due to technical limitations, or have other factors involved that are harder to see) but just wanted to point out that this would be a rlly bad argument for not adding the option.

 

Not being able to use credit cards is honestly just annoying. Especially if a player is trying to use a prepaid card that they got for there birthday. Ive tested this. Another example would be a parent aware of potential risks of buying stuff online and wouldnt want to use there card at all instead using a prepaid card. Using a prepaid credit card eliminates the risk of loosing a lot of money.
