    Well then why did they make a rule like rule 18 to begin with? why didnt they update/abolish it half a year ago when the first big drama of this type came up? why won't they do anything about it now? notice the name of this thread isn't "enforce rule 18." IT's either "remove rule 18 OR enforce it."

    Why would you put a rule in the rulebook and not enforce it, aren't rules there for a purpose?

    Like honestly did you even give two thoughts about these rules? Were you all just like "hey lets make a rule just for the hell of it and not enforce it!"

    I'm just genuinely curious

    Tell you what why don't we try it! Both sides are guilty of using subs (VnE being a prime example during today's conflict) and if you believe that the only thing holding you back is your self-restriction on subguilds, feel free to lift it.

    Well, both sides were using subs, but only one side was abusing subs in very large quantities, and i think that's what you and multiple others are forgetting; that we are not calling for an end to subguild use altogether, and there is a line to be drawn. IT's annoying that people here are plucking only certain parts of the overall argument and basing their responses around that to justify their points.

    I enjoy that this basically stemmed from anger that a guild wouldn't just roll over and die in the face of an attack from 12 or so guilds like countless others have. I apologize for us wanting to actually fight back I suppose, however I do agree that rule 18 should be removed. Personally I also feel that using subs is perfectly fine and if you have the members to do so I encourage it because it increases the complexity of the game so wars aren't completely mindless, however that's a fairly unpopular opinion.

    On another note, for y'all crying like "mOdS eDiT rUlE 18 oUt AlReAdY", have you considered that the post was made by an admin and they literally can't, the only person who can edit that is Salted and he seemingly just hasn't cared to do so despite it being acknowledged for ages that rule 18 is not enforced.

    So if only one person can edit it, we can't complain? Yes, we want it to be removed or enforced, and yes even if only one person can do something, we want that one person to do something.

    I could read what Goden said many times and see him nowhere saying that you can't complain. He only said you should address your complaints to the correct person.
    No need to explode whenever someone says something rational.

    Again with the Apologies for wanting to fight back point, it's so silly and "woe is me" like, it drives me and others nuts and only furthers the fuel for the fire. Perhaps you should re-evaluate what you did to even make so many guilds mad you at you hm? rather than think this is some kind of effort to specifically ruin one specific guild. No, this kind of subguild use we believe is inherently harmful and though i cant speak for everying, >I at least< would be scorning *any* guild who use this tactic to this degree.

    However, in one's eyes it could be a legit point that having the capital (and risk-taking as subguilds do drain power from the main guild as tradeoff) to make extra angles of attack and defense could be valid, however, as long as it is prohibited by the currently written rule18, it is BS that the rule is gettting stomped on with no enforcement. I feel like, in part, this is why the original poster and most supporters of this would also be fine with the removal of the rule. Our side just doesn't feel like abusing rule18 until it is officially reinstated or deleted, or if the terms in Maximi's Post are transferred to the "Official rules thread" as soon as possible. That's the bottom line, and that's much of the fuel to the fires of frustration we are seeing here.

    Altough big guilds as a whole could be able to do multiple attacks at the same time, it will just end in the same result as having many sub-guilds since you can leave 3 players in the same place throughout the entire war camping that territory while another war is going off somewhere else with the same strategy.

    Being able to do multiple attacks comes, though, with the advantage that you don't have to deal with people using macros and autoclicker to claim territories undefended by sub- or allied guilds faster.

    Actually buddy, your wrong there, I actually wanted to try the guild leader experience for once and also did it to mock your people (with your people I mean the actual guild who created, idk, like 7 sub guilds in a matter of an hour)

    Tbh the best solution to all this would be to give each guild the ability to have multiple wars running at the same time - limited
    Maybe 3-4 wars max
    While making subs completely forbidden, to defend or attack
    For that of course it needs to be clear what defines a sub guild

    Personally I think either the rule should either be removed so people will finally stop this argument and everyone is fine with using subs, or guilds should be able to attack multiple times at once (limiting this by guild level would be a good incentive to actually level your guild since realistically there's literally no reason to level past 55) and thusly actually ban subs. Why would this be different? Simply because with subs you just feed and make money for your sub by taking 1k mob territories while not defending in return, however doing it with one singular guild would A) cause the guild to have all of the economic stuff centralized instead of piling up money in subs and B) because a guild would be limited (ideally) by it's level by the amount of wars at once it could do. This would solve the "stop using like a dozen subs" issue because you literally wouldn't be able to legally.

    please just let me do three wars at once this would be epic

    I see even more problems arising from the prospect of guilds being able to war multiple times at once. It still overbenefits the mgaguilds, and it coulde cause a lot of cross-attack problems and extra stress on the server. plus let's say someone does make a subguilds but it slides by; that would mean it could become 6-8 wars at a time. It may also be difficu;llt to differentiate between subguilds and splinter guilds (aside from obvious cases such as guilds being created in t he midst of being raided) and just, eugh. If it's an idea that's going to be implemented, it shouldn't be advertised as a solution to rule18. I'm really afraid of what either this continued abuse of subguilds *or* the enabling of many wars at once to be done. This feature would immediately bury any guild who encounters a lapse in activity, as they could be attacked in 3-4 places at once in a 1v1 against another hostile guild, and their lands would be lost with nothing for the landholding guild to do about it. It would be extremely unfair, and many guilds will either get screwed over by default or get an immediate advantage with such a ffeature, and a multitude of guilds reading this are aware of which reicieving end they'd be on, and there'd be nothing they could do about it.
